I blame it being 1:00. drurrrrrrrrrrrrrhg

It would've fixed editprofile, but still left the profile itself in tatters.

I'll add htmlspecilchars when iwake up, for now I"m going to bed before Ifreeze.

?

From what I understand, having a quote in the wrong field is what's screwing things up. So if you put form values through htmlspecialchars(), it should turn quotes into ", which would show up as a quote in the text field but not affect the actual rendering of the page.

Or do I have the wrong idea entirely?

that wouldn't have done anything.

Wouldn't this become a non-issure if you put everything through htmlspecialchars() like you were going to anyway? ;o

This is what was wrong with your bio (the major thing, anyway). You <i>cannot leave out a quote</i>. it fucks everything over.

Huh...

Well, when I logged in with Internet Explorer, everything...was gone.

So I guess I'll have to put it all back in there, but at least it's fixed now.
Thanks.

I need to know one thing, what browser do you use?In Firefox, this bizarre HTML code you speak off happened to me about a couple of weeks ago when I was editing the tables for the MKDS Time Trials. After I edit my profile, my profile was fucked up just like what happened to yours and they save changes button wasn't there either when I did try to edit my profile. I opened the exact same page in IE and the button was there so I was able to fix it.

I'm pretty sure it has something to do with your browser.

OK, so I have slapping random userbars in my bio for the fun of it, when...something weird happened.

My profile somehow got really f5cked up. It's all...weird. And when I go to edit my profile, there's all this bizarre HTML code I didn't put there, PLUS there is no button that lets me actually save the changes I make, effectively meaning that I can't erase the weird code.

Check out my profile and you'll see how weird it is.
Any advice? Any ideas as to what I might've done?
Thanks for any help.
