So... how do I play Power Star 2? It just sits at the title screen, 4 clouds come in from the left with nothing on them and nothing ever happens.

Actually, Power Star isn't that old, I don't think.
And the Xmas one is atcually from about a couple months ago. But the other ones are probably a couple years old. I don't know for sure. But yes, they are very nice. So if you're reading this post and you haven't check them out, do so. |

I've been around Newgrounds quite a bit, but I have found some real gems of flashes there, and I feel compelled to share the best Mario ones with you guys.
They're simply awesome. You want raw, hard-core action? Check out Power Star! It's got some really sweet action scenes, especially for sprites. http://www.newgrounds.com/portal/view/235325 http://www.newgrounds.com/portal/view/283913 Something well-rounded? Rise of the Mushroom Kingdom serves up some action, some humor, and some emotion, all in one. It's a real quality flash series. All four parts can be found here: http://www.videogamedc.com/Pixeled_Parodies/pixeled_parodies.html 8-bit flashes seem to always suck, but this series really blew me away. Not only does it bring the 8-bit Mario world to life, it is very tragic and emotional.
