I think they should start naming them after gods.
Hurricane Kali, Hurricane Huiztilopotchli, Hurricane Odin, that sort of thing. Though, I suppose, battoning down in the face of the fury of Hurricane Poseidon would have a rather different sort of feel than, say, Katrina or Beta. |

Gamma should be the last storm of the year, since hurricane season ends on November 30. And I guess if by some strange reason something formed on December 1, it wouldn't be named or counted. |
