And if he saw his shadow, wouldn't it be sunny.. meaning spring would be sooner? If it's cloudy in the winter most likely you'd expect freezing rain or snow.. meaning more winter.
February 2 + 6 weeks = The week when spring starts. Regardless of whether the groundhog saw his shadow or now, there are 6 more weeks of winter |

Yes, because he saw his shadow there's going to be six more weeks of winter. It makes perfect sense!

So groundhog's day fails. I had to sing a song about groundhog's day in chorus today. Don't get me started on this ridiculousness. |

Not what I´ve heard of and I don´t see groundhogs often, if at all. |

does sweden even have anything that resemble's groundhog day? I thought it was just an american thing...
if you think about the whole groundhog day thing, there are 6 more weeks of winter anyways |

Well, they said that it was going to be cold in sweden the whole month.
I don´t mind it that much if it doesn´t get colder than it already is. |

I'd never heard of it either, but it's pretty basic. Be optimistic and good things will happen.
My kinda superstition. |

Ugh, how can you people have not heard of this?
Man... My old french teacher used to tell us to say it all the time. I miss that. |

OK... you guys can go ahead with this little superstition, but I've NEVER heard of it. Never ever. And, of course, if you've never heard of a superstition then it doesn't apply to you, so MY February isn't cursed. Hurrah. |

Months that are on my shitlist.
1. January 2. February 3. April 1 because it's cold... 2 because it's cold and pointless.. 3 because it's not may or June yet. It's like the waiting room to get into the waiting room for June. However Valentine's day is always delightful . But groundhogs day... which is tomorrow. Don't even get me started. And I believe my first words of February was me uttering phrases like "Grant's administration was corrupt and ineffective at governing the nation because he undermined his own authority with the vast number of scandals that occured during his administration."... Yeah I was finishing up history homework. Which is my absolute favorite subject... so this February may not be so bad. Especially because there's a 50% chance I'm seeing Andrew W.K. on Friday. |

Yeah, I forgot this morning.
NOW MY MONTH WILL BE CURSED. |

Wow, I never even heard of this superstition before! I have to remember next month to say it and see what will happen. I'll just stay up till midnight on February 28 playing my DS until that time comes, then I'll say it. I'm more likely going to forgot to say it when I wake up at 6am because I'll be too tired to remember. |

Oh yeah, it works for you, but then I’m late for school today. |

I said it this morning(Or last night for some) mostly jokingly. Funny thing is, when my dad came home from work he happened to give me a ring pop!(One of those candies on the toy ring thing)That's a funny coinkidink. |

I, too, doubt that February is good for me. But the last week in school has been pretty lazy.
So maybe I said Hare hare something without knowing it. |

There's no such thing as a good February for me except for winter breaks. |
