I've never had a gameboy, but I used a Super Gameboy to play Gameboy games
I like the Marcas editor, it always fun to play with editors like that.
Nice SML2 hack btw.

I believe my first gameboy was a gameboy color, and I believe my sister got a gameboy pocket. See, it was pretty convienient for me because I got a gameboy right around the time Pokemon first came out.
And then I got SML2 right about a year later.

Exactly, but in some emulators you can change the "Master Colors" and "Sprite Colors" with a color picker to make your favourite coloring.

VBA has that option

And you could change the screen contrast to the point of it being just a dark green patch, or to the point of it being blank, but still on. I daresay that was fun to mess around with from time to time.

Well, sprites use 3 colors + transparent, but the background has 4 colors: white, gray shade 1, gray shade 2 & black

Actually,...no
It has 4 colors, agreed. But they are Transparent/White, Gray shade1, Gray shade2, Black.

cYa,

Actually, you're partially right about that, but some games use my mechanism. I'd say we're both right.

Ah.. That's much better than joints. Sorry.

But what about the "Six Golden Joints"? They'd be at least joints..
