They can kill. Ever played SMB2?
Okay, maybe kill isn't the right word, but they could possible poke an eye out or be used as a dagger...

Photoshop.. but only because I use Photoshop for everything. I'd get the same results from MSPaint, they're just pixel art. =)

They look brilliant, something different from the same old round smilies I agree with what others have said here, that they would look great in a scheme.

I've experimented with smilies, but they never seem to turn out just right What program do you use to create these masterpieces?

Thes look great, I wish I could use them on MSN but it deletes my emoticons every time I log out But these must be for use on the board in the future

Haha, they look really cute!

Well done, Ashley. I can see that the last one is a heart. Is it for Danielle?

>8( should never be a graphic! psh

I finally got around to updating a few of them and finishing the rest of the set. Woohoo.

That last one is a heart, you see. 8D

Make a >8( one.

Not for use, just for fun. It would be the most awesome turnip, and the other turnips would look up to it. It's too cool to be used.

Those reminds me of the turnips Peach pulls out of the ground in SSBM.

It looks like you´re basing them of those. Anyway, they look great. Maybe they should have different colors, though.

I think if you slightly shaded along both sides and the bottom they could get a nice depth effect. It wouldn't necessarily look better, just more 3D, so maybe that's not what you're going for. But yes, these get the expressions across just fine.

And maybe you can make an evil one that doesn't have a text string, sorta like an equivalent to this one. And you can make that one wild.

Well they're not wild.. I just wanted to steal some of Zem's strawberry energy.

I'm working on a smiley set of Mario turnips.

I haven't pixeled in quite a while, does it show?
I consider this a rough draft stage (which is why I haven't bothered completing the set), as I've done everything in one sitting. I'm sure after sleeping on it I will get a better perspective. I'd really appreciate other feedback, I want to shape this up into something snazzy.
