Im always interested in another Zelda hack, but having worked with Hyrule Magic for about 2 years now, im more inclined to move beyond it rather than continue with it. Once DP is released, i see myself creating a PC game, or perhaps a DS game. |

Im interested, however I wanted to create OOT with the LTTP interface...Kinda like what Daniel Barras has done but using LTTP roms as a base instead. Im sure there is a way we could suit both our needs...since you are wanting a mjority of things from OOT correct? |

A long time ago, a group of friends and I actually had an official (unofficial!) fangame being developed in C++ called The Legend of Zelda: Storms of Evil. It's interface was polygonal 2D like LTTP and played much like it but also shared the interface of Ocarina of Time. It introduced a new world and new dungeons, as well as much more. Also featured original music.
What happened? It a'sploded. The idea was thrown away. However, now I am working on a project along with some help from my girlfriend and her friend which is a ROM hack of Zelda 3. Unfortunately, I'm not super experienced with Hyrule Magic, so it might be interesting to have a team project occur. Anyone interested who is very experienced with Hyrule Magic or ASM hacking, contact me on MSN (ffxgm@hotmail.com). Some features include a new world, more perplexing dungeons with specific features (such as the Temple of Darkness, with invisible hallways and doors!) and more. It would be nice to have some graphics hacking but I'm not too experienced with that. Post here or contact me if you'd like to help. |
