A close game six between Miami and Dallas.

I am still in a bit of shock concerning the loose ball foul and D-Wade missing both free throws and the traveling call.

Lucky break for Miami that Dallas missed that last three.

Hoorah for Miami. They win. In six, just like Toxic and I stated.

I never thought this would be a six game series. But it could end tomorrow... neither team has won on the road yet in this series. Miami could lose in game seven if they play like they did in game 1 and 2.

Yeah. I don't know if anyone else is following this but Miami tied the series, 2-2.

Seriously. I was ready to jump off the bandwagon once they almost lost game three.

Even if they lose the entire series, at least it wasn't a sweep.

Miami in 6 games though.

The Big guy came up short in a big game.

And they lost an 11 point lead...

It's like both teams made a bet on who can suck the most in this game.

Problem is, nobody told Jason terry about the bet.

^ Shaq better learn how to hit free throws then. 0 for 8 (10 technically)? His form looks like shit .

Nah. I give the Suns two more years, even three to actually reach the Finals and win it.

I'm going with Miami b/c I want Shaq to win without Kobe. *hates Kobe*

Also, I don't want a team from Texas to win because of that stupid phrase "Don't mess with Texas."

Phoenix to win in 2007.

I really don't care who wins now... um... I'll go with Dallas since Shaq doesn't need another win.

I'm rooting for Miami. Even though I wanted Dallas to win over the Suns and I basically got my wish in this Finals matchup, I'm hoping Shaq can get another ring and retire.

He doesn't have much left, maybe 2 years or so of decent production.

Plus I want him to prove a point to Kobe and the Lakers franchise.

Even so, I am an inkling that Dallas will win. Thd depth on their side seems greater, the bench as well. Then again, I have not seen Miami pushed to its limits. Not even against Detroit. That series seemed pretty sad.

I think this is going to be a six game or seven game series. Hoping Miami wins.

For Atlanta, hell is ESPN.com's voting for Rookie of the Year. 20 writers agree: Chris Paul, who wanted to go to Atlanta (and very well COULD HAVE). Us New Orleans/Oklahoma City/Sheboygan, Wisconsin fans thank you, Hawks management, for your ineptitude.

So... uh... anything happen in the NBA?

Speaking of Toronto trades, former 1999 first-round pick (#5, actually) Jonathan Bender will retire due to chronic knee ailments. In retrospect, he was a pretty intriguing guy (how many seven-footers do you see playing guard?) who just couldn't stay healthy enough to develop.

Toronto unloaded Jalen Rose to the New York Knicks today for Antonio Davis (if he even reports), a first round pick (granted, it's Denver's) and cash. Strictly a salary dump since Rose's salary pretty much crippled Toronto.

Althought to be fair, ever since their 1-15 start the Raps have gone 16-15. So maybe some changes are just what they need. :\

Kings are 1-2 with artest so far... however, artest is looking playoff bound so, for now, his attitude seems to be good

Sacramento, apparently.

He is best known for his performance in the NBA's dunk contest last year when he needed eight tries to finish his first dunk.

I wonder what is sorrier, that or the following statement:

Known as "Birdman" for his high-flying dunks, Andersen [5.0 ppg] was a fan favorite among Hornets fans in Oklahoma City, where the team is playing most of its home games this season.

As for artest, would he belong anywhere in the league?

Are they serious? Birdman? He looked more like a KFC chicken wing.

One of the worst performances ever see on a NBA court. Ever.

I felt sorry for him. I mean, I am only five foot five, yet I know damn well sure I probably could've done better in the dunk contest.

If it involves Ron Artest, the question really is, do you need to ask?

Speaking of trades, the Celtics dumped Mark Blount on the T-Wolves, along with Jiri Welsch and Ricky Davis, for Michael Olowokandi and Wally Szczerbiak. There's other players involved but I can't be bothered to look them up.

Also, Chris Andersen will not be around to defend his dunk contest appearance fee.

If Kobe does it again...I will eat my shoe.

Oh and the Sacramento Kings got Artest. And lost in their first game with him.

Anybody think this is a good trade or simply 'another explaosiong waiting to happen'?
