"I was desperate and I only had 5 bucks. So the whore I got was ugly, fat, & old. I wouldn't have been willing, without some penicillin, luckily her twat was full of mold"

If you wanna hear really fucked up songs that are politaclly incorrect look up John Valby.

The hell is wrong with you? You're making things more complicated than they actually are.

EDIT: Oh, right, English class. Yeah, you don't have to do that analytical thing to that extent outside of class.

The implications may be in the music, which is protected by the first amendment; however, they have to have Explicit lyrics sticker on the c.d, but on the Music Video I'm pretty sure that you don't see a guy 'splooging' on women. So you see something maybe implied in the music but not shown making it OKAY!!! Making your side of the argument lacking in evidence.

Does this sexual content you speak of apply to the videos along with the c.d. cases?

I don't even wanna think about the implications here...

Does this sexual content you speak of apply to the videos along with the c.d. cases? Because if so, I am going to have to entirely disagree with you. First of all I will say, I don't really like rap, the only reason I watch the videos is for the sexual content. I mean come on it is everywhere these days it would be impossible to truly stop that.

For instance violence, I see anyway, is okay in 'some' music. Like Death Metal bands like Cradle of Filth. They are very talented in their music. However, if a law was passed going by your standards Cradle of Filth and other bands like them would no longer exist because that is what they are based upon...

Supersuit, you imply that
1) Rap is not music
2) Things you consider obscene ought to be censored, at least some of the time

These may be hard positions to defend

Heh, you'd probably like other songs like "Slob On My Knob" or some of NWA's better ones. I think rappers make songs like this to glorify their lifestyle, while more obscene music (Frank Zappa being a good example) is usually comedic or to prove how wierd our views on censorship are. It would do good to have a rapper or two get in trouble with the 'content' of their songs, just to prove that the first amendment won't always work. Swearing (saying God in vain counts too), sexual content in most instances, and visual swearing are the usual obscenities according to me. Violence can be a tricky one; most of it is ok in anime/mecha, slapstick comedy and art-based fighting, but stuff like UFC and even those crime investigation shows can be too much. I usually listen to progressive rock, one of the cleaner genres out there.

SKEET SKEET SKEET SKEET SKEET.

Now that's out of the way, what, to you, constitutes obscenity in music/movie/book/TV/ect.? And are obscene materials subject to freedom of speech? I really like the song "Get Skeeted On," simply for the fact it's overly obscene. I consider it obscene because, frankly, it has no taste and doesn't really make any sort of points artistic or otherwise; It's about jizing on a woman's (women's =O) face(s). At the same time, I feel that it's protected by the first amendment (or equivilent in other countries).

Any thoughts?
