As nice as it sounds in having a couch and a drinking area I would not want these things in a male bathroom.
I mean, who in their right mind would use it? Seriously? The only male bathroom I can imagine in having these are the ones that have that guy in there, who hands you a towel and such. Then, and only then would I feel safe to sit on a couch. Okay maybe not sit on it, more like hover five feet above it. |

Every now and then, there's some wanker who won't flush what appears to be a cooked yam (dur, it's a big shit). I never go to unflushed toilets and I hate porta-potties. Hell yes I wash my hands because you don't know what the previous flusher was doing.
I remember back in high-school, these "gangsta" guys won't flush the toilets. You think THAT is stupid? Don't worry, it gets even dumber. The bathroom across from the cafeteria reeks of year-old urine. I could smell that bathroom from 100ft away. The urinals and toilets have whole toilet-paper rolls clogging the pipes. Every now and then some asshole will think it's cute to piss on the floors and the walls. It gets really bad when the sink doesn't work. Maybe it's considered cool to piss on anything that's not a toilet. R-Kelly does it, so it's aight! Right? At least I don't have to put up with it anymore. |

I hate public toilets I try not to use them, but when you have to go you have to go. I don't however do number 2's, they can wait
The toilets at work are disgusting though, because I'm basically the only male working upstairs in the office and all the other males are down at the warehouse, their is only one men's bathroom and it can get really disgusting in their. I have always believed that the women's toilets are way better then the men's, you see on movies sometimes sitting area's with couches and drink area's, nice pictures on the wall and it always smells fresh and clean, come to think of it, I have never asked a female what the women's bathroom is really like .. But to answer the question, I always wash my hands after doing my business, if I don't clean my hands I feel dirty all day and it's really horrible seeing people just walk out of the bathroom without washing their hands, their should be a law stating you have to wash your hands after going to the toilet. |

Thatīs so disgusting I wanna puke. When thereīs "fluid" on the toilet seat, I mean.
Either I take some paper and wipe it off completely or I use another toilet. |

I do what asdf does, after wiping down the toilet seat of course. Now, if there's a lot of... fluid... on the seat, I'll use another toilet instead. |

Iīd rather not use those auto dryers as you donīt get completely dry, as Yoro mentioned |

Originally posted by asdf It never makes me all the way dry though..it takes way too long so I end up using a paper towel to finish it off. And, you can just use the paper towel to open the door handle, and just throw it in to the trash after. So you don't need to touch the handle and get more public germs ^^ |

I like when a shower spout is overly pressurized. |

I believe you. I had a run-in with one of those things, once. If I remember correctly, it was at a public swimming pool. It grows on you after a while, though. It's like a massage of sorts, only it's a lot more...wet. But I suppose that was only because I was itching like crazy that day. If I hadn't, it probably would've annoyed me to the point of only using it for the point of getting the chlorine off my body. |

No, not high speed as if you turned up the tap all the way. High speed so that the water's... well... hard.
Trust me, if you've taken a shower with hard water, you'll know that it's not a pleasant experience at all. :\ |

Motion sensor sinks that spew out water at high speeds? That's ridiculous. Nobody uses that high a setting. I bet they get your clothes wet too from all the splashing, right?
While we're on the subject of public bathrooms, anyone wonder what's the point of the face-drying feature of those auto dryers? You know, you pull down on the metal section where the air comes out, and the air starts coming out the front? Yes, it is intended get your face dry, but who uses it? I've never seen anybody take advantage of that before, and I've seen many people use those things. Oh, and what I usually do for public toilets is take a few sheets of toilet paper, use them to cover the toilet seat, and sit down. It works really well, and it makes sitting down feel more comfortable (both physically and mentally). |

After reading this thread I can say one thing Remind me to never shake any of your hands if I ever get the chance to do so. |
Cynthia Posts: 1093/5814 |
Every single bathroom I've used at university has taps. Taps = guaranteed hot water.
However, I have run into motion-sensor sinks like Yoro described... and they spit out hard water. Water pounding down on your hands = not fun. |
