I actually see it on his second post in this thread, but not others. And I have layouts on auto-update, so it couldn't just be that his layout is broken in that post and not the rest.

This board has incredibly broken html, there are table rows outside of tables, and table data cells outsides of rows. Its crazy. Anyway, I see your layout uses a table cell without starting a row, which is normally ok, although not technically valid html. Your table may be having problems with the already broken table code on the page, atleast with whatever rendering engine you're using (there's no Mozilla 2.0, but whatever version you're using its out of date since Mozilla isn't being developed anymore). So like Danielle said, see what it looks like in IE, and get the latest Firefox (1.5). I would also suggest you change your table for a div, since there's no way it can interfere with board code.

Also, you set background=00000, I think what you mean is bgcolor="#000000", background is for an image, atleast when used as an attribute, instead of css. You background color isn't showing up for me, and probably no one else either, oddly though, it shows up in your screenshot. Try this for your header:

<div style="background:black;color:white;font-family:tahoma;width:100%;height:100%"><img src="http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v509/xsadbutruex/inverted.jpg" style="padding-right:10px;padding-bottom:10px;float:left">

and this for your signature:

</div>

That should work better.

Actually, it's showed up for me a couple of times, only in this thread. Not very frequently though.

I think I figured it out. It has to do with the insanely weird loading my computer does. Like, if these pages load right... my layout looks alright.. but if it stops loading for some reason, it's messed up.

That's the best I can explain it.

I was just worried that maybe my tables were messing up the board, or there was some sort of strange bug. That doesn't seem to be the case though..

It still happens for me.. but I'll just deal with the ugly if it's not affecting other people.

Try viewing your posts in IE or an updated version of FF (or whatever browser you may choose ) and see if they look the same. If it's not the browser, I have no idea.

That's indeed very weird because your posts show up fine for me. Is there something wrong with the layout or code? And which browser are you using?

That's really odd...

Is there some sort of setting for internetz that makes shift+enter mean something else? Something that would... somehow... make it do that?

That is very very very strange. As I'm seeing it, it's all squished up in a tiny tiny little column. I'm using mozilla.. version, um.. when I hover over the icon is says (2). So uh, version 2? .. Maybe. I kind of suck at this whole computer thing.

But yeah, all my posts look severely messed up to me. It's more of a random thing though.

Okay, there's an example of what I'm talking about here:

See, the text gets squished to the left side of the post... and the right side is just a void of blank black space.

Yeah, I can't see a problem... Could you be more specific? I really don't see anything.

As a side note, I have Enter set to "insert return," not to send the message. I hit tab, then enter to do that. Which works here, too.

I've never had this problem, and I always hold shift when I hit enter because of AIM too.
Like now.

And now.

now too!

It doesn't do anything to me.

Okay, I'm a sick loser and I use AIM too much. When you have to space between paragraphs in AIM, you need to use shift+enter.. so I end up always doing it by default.

On the board, when this happens. My text gets confined to a space that's like 10 pixels wide in a column that goes all the way down the page.

I just wanted to know if there was a real reason for this... or if it was just a strange strange bug?

[edit]
See, like this post. The text get's all.. messed up. It's only been happening recently..
