The team at id software actually approved the script
for Doom and it turns out they changed the origin of
the monsters.

Nintendo better get this right or there's gonna be a lot of negative publicity for the franchise.

Nothing personal, but it just looks so weird. Link with curly hair, Ganon looks like a teenage punk...
But as a Zelda fan, I am still going to try to see it.

Posts: 1924/2607		 Yes, the acting would most likely be pretty terrible. But at the same time, I think there's a certain charm so long as you're not expecting anything really cheesy.

And certainly better than the Mega Man Live Action Movie for which there's a similar trailer.

Posts: 1921/2607		 Well, as was already stated, it's not really happening, and the trailer is probably about as far as the fan movie will go, unfortunately. I wouldn't mind seeing a full movie made by those people, actually.

Posts: 307/-7750		 Here's what some of you need to look at: Don't freak out about them making yet another Game-to-Big Screen movie, sure Doom Mortal Kombat and Street Fighter were lame, but look at it like this: Nintendo based movies would be cooler than capcom based or acclaim based, Nintendo has better games than all the other companies, look at the Legend of Zelda series, most of thos games are awesome, and turning it into a movie would be sweet, not lame. You've got the effect of several of the past medieval type flicks that could inspire it to be good.
