Candy from an unclear source? I think the best plan of action is to eat it. |

Mine came in Friday. The chargers are exactly the same, save for the maker. No problem using the jap charger. And it came with... candy Lemon things with what looks to be some sort of low-budget pokemon. |

Neither Nintendo themselves nor any major electronic site has it listed anywhere. |

I was meaning whether or not my jap DS would accept an american router signal.
And my name is in japanese, and I live in California. |

I knew that the Wi-Fi servers are international, but what I didn't know is if the jap DS would have any trouple with my router's signal. Well, Graphite Black for me~ |

I've always been under the impression that we (United States) use 120v, Japan uses 110v, and Europe uses 220v. Not sure about the rest of the world such as Oceania (includes Australia) |

Since when do the Japanese use a different kind of electricity than the rest of the world? |

If I remember correctly, and I hope I do. You should be able to use the DS here since the shuld all use the same battery. The only thing that would matter would be the language differences. And you would need an american charger since we use 120v. |

My girlfriend bought an American DS before the European launch. She used a GBA SP power supply for recharging and it works just swell with wi-fi I'd imagine that the wi-fi standard is pretty much standardised across the world, so you should be able to pick one up and use it straight away like we did. |

I've been meaning to get a new DS, but I've been wanting to import one of the more stylish color choices. However, I'm not too keen on how it'd work exactly. I know region protection is nonexistant, but what about how it charges? I know japan has it's own whatever for the electricity, but would I have to buy an adapter for the DS, or would my american charger still give it the correct amounts of volts or whatever?
And also, would my Wi-Fi connection still work, or would it be shitted too? |
