Yeah there was mention of that on IMDB. I enjoyed the series and was quite suprised how they made it so funny with a TV-PG rating. |

I'm sure it will be a great movie... but I'm not sure if it will be a good Clerks movie though (IMO it didn't need a sequel but my mind may change once I see it)... I can see why they ditched the black and white but if they make it an ACTUAL movie then I'll probably be pissed. I loved the "layers of hell" skits from the original Clerks. |

Wow.
What is it with the year 2006 and the preponderance of movies that I actually care about going to watch?  I love Kevin Smith's work, even the stuff that did not tend to be reviewed as well as some of the others (I thought Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back was a real laff riot, thankyouverymuch), so this is a must-see for me. |

From what I've read, it's gonna be a great movie. On the View Askew boards, there's a thread for those who have already seen the movie [http://www.viewaskew.com/theboard/viewtopic.php?t=41929] (they had a private screening). While the comments were spoiler-free (I suspect that they signed some sort of confidentiality agreement), I never read anything negative.

Let me start off by saying that they had better have the same type of humor has the orginal.
Its finally official, Clerks 2 will be coming out. Most of the orginal cast are back. There's the teaser trailer on that site, plus a few extra videos here and there. |
