I thought about this before myself... if you just used those Javascript show/hide buttons that every other forum has, and stored the status in a cookie, you wouldn't need any database fields, or for that matter, any PHP code changes at all (except to add the JS). |

What you should try to do is just look at the forums that you like, then when your done just click on "Mark all forums read" that will take care of everything you dont want to look at and such |

I don't mean to sound rude, but I know the response that you'll get. "Just scroll past them, it's not that hard." Or, perhaps a more thought-out one... "It's not worth the work that'd be required to code this." I don't exactly disagree with your idea, I just know it won't happen. |

Since I don't like all the forums, like the anime one or the story one, I was wondering something. My question is, would it be possible to put "New" on the forum names that we choose, intead of on every forum title ? Or an option to hide a forum you don't read, not the whole category. |
