Mario = 2 Luigis in my mind. For some reason...

I kinda like Luigi better. I remember when I first played SMW, I never knew there was a "Green Mario". I thought Luigi was cool because the color green was my favorite at the time.

With reference to the episodes... Luigi raised Yoshi. That's instantly a big plus.

Also, he tends to get into "why me?" situations which I can definately relate to.

He's got a point. _ャ

Personally, I prefer Luigi. Why? He can jump higher, he looks cooler than Mario, and I love the way his legs flap when he jumps in some games.

Luigi. If he's not in the New Super Mario Bros. I will join all my Luigi > Mario Brothers in a Riot in Japan.

Luigi and I are ( Minus that moustache) identical.

Luigi. I mean, cmon. The question should really be asked like this:

"Which Mario brother do you think will die first from physical ailments?"

Well let's add some shit up here. Mario is in more games. Thus, he has eaten more shrooms and leaves. More people play as him also, increasing the amount consumed. And Mario always gets with Peach. That's just a given. Well, due to Mario's destructive lifestyle and habits, I'd say he's a shoo in for all sorts of fun ailments.

Plus, Mario's a big fat Commie.

Mario, because he always most of the time says cheese.

...or Mario is Missing? Then again, neither Shigeru Miyamoto nor Gunpei Yokoi worked on that game. I do like the Green One, though. When I'm playing SMB2 and about to enter a level with a lot of high-up ledges, Luigi's the one I pick.

I liked Luigi when I was little. Then they tallened him up. I was like "What? Why!?" Then he came in 3D and with a voice and personality. That won me back. I'm now a Luigi man. Through and through.

the older the better beside he's the main character.

If by this you mean Melee increased Luigi's pimp factor by about twenty-seven, you are ABSOLUTELY RIGHT!

I like Mario, but I play Luigi in games that allow it more often.

For example, Super Mario 64 DS, Luigi is the main character I use.

<3 The Luigi jumps.

Of course. I love the Mario Bros. As a team, I love them to death.

But Luigi's Mansion wasn't the first game where Luigi got personality. Technically, Mario didn't really have any personality until Mario 64. But in the Mario Party games, Mario Tennis, etc., Luigi still had some personality.

Luigi's Mansion sort of introduced a slightly different version of that personality. And let's admit, Melee didn't help Luigi's reputation too much. XD

Like them both.

I love Mario games, and all the levels are for Mario.(well, obviously
But if you play it with Luigi, it seems more "fresh". There are places that's easier when using Luigi - but there are easier places for Mario.
So, I like how their "controlling feeling" is different.

But, back then Luigi was just a supporting player. Even his name meant "Copy" in Japanese.(類似??るいじ?ィルイジ(He used to be this name)?ィルイ?[ジ(It was changed)?ィLuigi) So, Luigi was made just for "another controlling feeling".
But then, Luigi's Mansion came out, and then he got a "character" of his own. I was one of the people who liked his character, so I ended up liking Luigi too.

Mario was always a nice guy in me, and since Luigi became a 90%star, I like them both.

Yea, I hated playing as Luigi in Lost Levels because he was so slippery, and I beat it with Mario. It's just that you would have to, like, get running starts on those high jumps, and stuff.

Mario has always been my Super Smash Bros. character, and he's pretty much just my favorite fantasy character ever. (though Sonic probably comes at a fairly close second)

I actually didn't really care for Luigi, but since Nintendo has been paying more attention to him these days, he's really rubbed off on me. I mean, Melee made him a little too...disturbing...but a lot of the other games just make him more sensitive, and stuff. I dunno. He's funny.

I love Melee, though, because it's about the first game where Mario actually looked serious, like he meant business, and he was gonna kick your ass. That, and I think his design in that game was about perfect. Ironic how every game he was in on GCN after that, he looked a bit stupider...

Luigi's Mansion...was OK. I enjoyed it. It was a fun lil' romp. At the time of it's release, I was merely impressed with the graphics and the controller for the GCN. Ah, I still remember the first day I ever played Super Smash Bros. Melee...good times...

Aside from the C-stick and the unused + thingy, I really love the GCN controller. I found it very intuitive. I'm sure the Rev. controller will be even more so.
