people bite them when they are bored?  I've been told it is a bad habit, not sure why though... i used to when I was in 3rd grade. Then I yelled at by my parents. I haven't done it since then 
My nails stay uncut until my ring finger nail starts digging into my hand when I write with a pencil... Popping another person's pimple?  |

That is a huge problem for everybody,biting nails, If everyone were to bite there neils each time that they get nervous or are thinking, then in a couple years nails wouldnt even be known. Ive met so many people with just stubs, I meen they have no nails at all. |

I bite my fingernails too much out of nervousness and when thinking

I sometimes bite my nails. But I am trying to stop that habbit. My cousing bit his nails for a long time and now they are black as night and i dont want mine getting that way. |

I don't bite my fingernails... but I bite the skin around my fingers when I'm nervous or bored. Weird.
And yeah.. when I was like.. really really little I used to bite my toenails. When I think about it.. I actually want to puke. Maybe it's some sort of strange grooming instinct we have? |

I have been a nail biter all my life, and this habit will most likely follow me to my grave  . Now matter how many times I've told myself to stop, I just can't stop it...so I gave up trying to give up  . On the bright side, at least I don't have to cut them, I just bite the fuckers off  . |

My fingernails are too hard for me to bite through - I can't even bite off hangnails. I need nail clippers, and they need to be strong ones... I've used fingernail clippers before where I could squeeze the levers hard enough to make them touch, and the nail still didn't clip, so I usually use those big toenail clippers. |

I used to bite my toenails aswell but I stopped a while ago. Just like that.
I can still get my feet to my head. Yes, I´m very flexible. But a friend I know can get both his feet BEHIND his head and make them stay there. |

Sometimes I do, but now that I think about it, my fingers touch and are in some rather disturbing places throughout the day, and I should probably not be putting them into my mouth...
