Personally what I'd do is make your picture smaller. Crop the character out a bit / blend the background into a flat color like a red. Then I'd use HTML and CSS to position that picture in the bottom.... right hand corner of your layout. Again using HTML and CSS I'd create a text box that stretches and sits to the left of the character. That way you can see your character; you can see your text, you're using smaller images, etc. |

The only reason I hate getting new pictures is because I have to add a text background. |

Big picture.
Not a good thing. Not as much of a problem as it used to be; with more and more people getting broadband, but still inconsiderate. Smaller picture, please. There are some very cool things you can do without using such big pictures  |

Find a better picture.  Perhaps get one of Link and put it to the right, with a text box on the left. Something similar to the very much ripped off Hiryuu layout.
And by better picture, I mean one that doesn't blind the person looking at it, nor make your layout a full screen size. |

Now, the background is wayyyyyyyyyyyyy too big. It's almost 1mb.

I have edited it a million times and I will edit it later, besides that I think it looks fine. I am fixing to get a new picture anyways. |

The text box looks horrible, and the huge gap at the bottom of the layout is not necessary. |
