Ahh! I love fettuccini! Italian food is the greatest thing ever ever..most of the food I make is only asian dishes, I'm trying to learn how to make Italian food now too. All the different types of cheese and sauces and..it is a whole other world that Japanese cooking (while some of the most delicious things ever!) never really branches out into. I think I love food a little too much ._. |

My aunt is a chef. Not professional but she cooks the best anything I ever had. She's the reason I need to go on a diet. |

Ouch.
I just use the mcrowave whenever I make hot cereal, I never burn it then. I usually like to have it cold, though. |

Eh, I can cook limited stuff... Noodles, eggs, simple things. Oh, I can cook steak in my own sauce, though. There's something.
I suppose I could cook better stuff if I botrhered to read the recipes and directions on the back of them... I don't usually cook though, so that's another reason I can't cook well. |

chaa..I just learned to prepare ramen but really, the thing with me is I can cook. If I sat down and looked at a recipe, and had all the ingredients, I could easily follow the instructions and eventualy cook something. I just...don't, not alot of opportunities to do that since the folks do most of the cooking around here and my sister and I are just sorta like...whatever. But I've been experimenting with the microwave lately and started "cooking" some late night snacks for myself. Its quite nice, but something tells me if I keep up with this diet I'll die before 30 (usualy consists of something cheesy, or with peperoni, tossed onto a tortilla of sorts and melted together and rolled up. good but probably not too healthy) |

I'm good at the basics, but I generally don't like to cook. I've been trying to figure out why - I had to help people cook recently and it was a "neutral to pleasant" task - and I think that when you're used to food that requires near-zero time and attention to prepare, any effort put forth towards making food and cleaning up afterward feels annoying even if it isn't really much at all. There are a few things that I do enjoy making (like cottage cheese pancakes), and it would be a good idea for me to expand my horizons and get used to putting in time in the kitchen on a regular basis. Variety is good and it would save some money as well. (The healthy convenience meals I buy are rather pricey.) |

I can cook some foods. Just simple stuff mainly unless I took a cooking class during my school years then it was a tad different but fun though. |
