Okay...anyone have any ideas for a new Metroid animation?

No bad.

But between the end of the animation and the beginning there's still a few missing frames to make it be fluent.

No offence MarioMaster, but just cause you know me from school and where friends doesn't mean you have to say it harsh.

That is my first animation ever. Must be at least 5 or 6 years old.

I have to agree with Peardian on the "duration" part; otherwise, it doesn't look bad at all. You've gotton better.

I don't know if you use this or not, but changing the duration of the frames can greatly improve some animations by making them flow better.

Ummmno. Try to visualise how it -should- look for a continually smooth animation. Feel free to flip a frame if needed.

How is this?

Good one.

Now add some extra frames to make it turn back accordingly. This is a bit jerky.

For an example, look at my custom title. She waves to one side, then back to the other. Your fish turns once, then -jerks- back to frame one instead of turning.

Here is one that I made last night that has more frames.

Better. Now, try making a sprite that uses a larger number of frames, like maybe Mario from SMW running, then taking off using a feather.

No, as they COULD be good, but then A, the frames are still not quite aligned, and B, the timing is horrid.
This is a long thread. Click here to view it.
