I prefer the Spur. The Snake is weak and the Machine Gun is pointless once you get the Booster 2.0. Oh, right, and the Spur is liquid awesome.
I like the Blade, but the Nemesis is much nicer in Hell. The best time I've seen through Hell was done with the Nemesis and Snake. It was 2:17. |

Yeah, Cave Story roxxorz. So... what's everyone's favorite Polar Star upgrade? Sure, the Spur does ridiculous damage and the Snake is amazingly useful for killing things before they become problems (that is, come out from behind a wall), but I prefer the Machine Gun. It's just too cool to fly around with it after you get the turbocharge. But the point is really moot, because I just use it to get around and use the lv3 Blade to kill everything. Nemesis is for losers. Yay, Cave Story! |

To those of you saying it's old: SO? It's one fuckawesome game, and deserves a thread whenever, especially for those just discovering it.
If you want the official, translated music, I have a link here. Editing ID3 tags gets a little monotinous after a while. |
