Traditions, no, but this is funny regardless...
Concordia has a "Molson Zone" setup for their hockey games. What that means is that they split the arena into several sections, and if the player assigned to your section scores, everyone in the section gets a free beer. I don't know how long that's going to last, because last weekend Concordia won a game 11-1 with one guy getting 4 goals. XD But no... aside from light hazing, nothing serious here. McGill on the other hand... |

ND represent. We have tons of things we do before games. Every Friday night at midnight the drummers from the band go out on the quad infront of the Dome and play songs for 30 minutes and a couple hundred students are there just going nuts and stuff. Then there's the obligatory tailgating the day of games. At the game, when it's finished, all the students stay for the almamater to be played. Other fun traditions are making a different shirt for each game, last year they were mostly about the team we were playing but this year most of the shirts were about how increadibly bad ass our players were. Man, college football rules. |

Do any of you collegiates have any traditions that go along with your school's teams? I bring this up because last night I jumped into a pond while it was 24 degrees out-- it's a tradition for students to jump in Mirror Lake the Thursday before the big OSU-UM game. Do any of you guys have any crazy things like that at your schools? |
