I don't consider the original iPod chunky, as it's pretty small.
And here's the iPod corporate death machine: ===> OH NOES THEY HAVE NO FOOD BECAUSE THEY BOUGHT TOO MANY iPods INSTEAD OF FOOD!!!11!1!!11!1 |

Particularly the idea of the iTunes Music Store which has forced the RIAA to realise that there IS a market for people to buy digital music -- without overly restrictive DRM. Back to iPods... If I were to buy another iPod at the moment, I'd get the nano -- for the same kinds of reasons Rydain has mentioned. My iPod is cool, but it's quite chunky when I'm trying to exercise. One thing that disappoints me though about iPods is the lack of Radio, and the fact that Steve Jobs keeps insisting that we (consumers) don't want radio with our iPod. Sometimes I might like to listen to the radio... :-/ |

original...right before the others came out
color isn't so bad but I rather have more HD space than miniaturization |

Then vote for your favorite one or the one you'd probably want to get.
It's what you think is the best. Even if you are a poser. |

I've never had any form of iPod
Does that make me terrible? |

I voted for the Nano because it was the best iPod choice for me. I wanted an inobtrusive wafer to take to the gym with me, and I liked that the Nano was more flexible than the Shuffle (because you aren't limited to a single playlist at a time). I played with a Nano at the store before buying one, and I thought that its interface felt especially solid and easy to use. It responds well without being too twitchy, and it offers clicky feedback, too. Also, I already used iTunes to manage my playlists, so why not go with a player that interfaces especially well with that software? |

The manual is actually pretty small. I read it in about 5 minutes. |

...What are you waiting for?
I mean, as soon as mine comes I'm going to be charging it, getting a ton of files ready to be converted and reading the instruction manual from cover to cover. Oh yes. I will be prepared. |

Video.
It's the only one that plays videos. |

Style reasons, money reasons or just no need for video/a large amount of HD space.
I know the Shuffle's popular but I can't see why people would get them. No way to choose songs = bad. |

Video because there's nothing better then having portable videos that fit in your pocket. Plus, it holds the most, I believe. I mean why get a different one if you can afford the video? |

It's like saying Shoe Company A is better than Shoe Company B because Shoe Company A's winter boots are warmer than Shoe Company B's sandals. A better comparison would've been the 30 GB iPod and the 30 GB Zen Xtra. ...which I'm fully aware results in the iPod getting owned hard. But this time it's fair, so I'm cool with it. |

I only have the original, 20GB thing. |

Original.
The new ones are pretty cool; but I with the removal of FireWire, I can't boot from it... |

I don't understand this poll. Are we voting for what we have or what's the best?
I own the original, before the ipod photo came out. yeah. Hehe, when I got the iPod for my 17th birthday, I was just fine with CDs. I didn't care about mp3 players at all. But now I can't see myself going back. |
