When I was little I rember SML2, one of my favorites, even though it is one of the odd balls of the Super Mario 2D sieries (With SMB2 as thier leader as the most odd), but this game was sorta hard... I beat it though... I liked the Mario Tower or the small place the best.

I thought SML1 was meh. Controls were slippery... everything was so small onscreen... I remember having a lot of trouble with it as a kid. SML2 will have to be my pick, I did beat SML3, but I never really got into the Warioland series after that.

Super Mario Land might be nice if it had a real overhaul on the graphics and gameplay... but I don't think Super Mario Advance 5 will ever come. Mario and Luigi Superstar Saga (called Mario and Luigi RPG in Japan) was going to be SMA5, but since it ain't a remake, that title dropped quickly (Mario Bros. is still included, and so is compatibility with SMA1-4 for link play). Also Game Boy Advance is dying in favor of the Nintendo DS.

And more on topic, SML2 was my favorite of the series. I never played SML3, though.

I loved SML1, but I think it needs to have an enhanced remake. I hope it becomes Super Mario Advance 5, with enhanced graphics/sound, added levels, a save feature, and a cutscene where Tatanga nabs Daisy and flies off, cackling. I don't like having to squint to see the sprites in that game.

The worst part about SML2 and SML3 is... the lack of names! There are so many unique enemies and they don't have names. The only ones I know of are the ones from the game manual and the classics.

If anyone knows any, could you PM me?

Yes, unfortunately.

Altough the main foes of SML3 was named Gooms in the mariomonsters.com website. Pirate goom which has a sword, and wandering goom which is only wandering.

The little wandering white guys were Critters, I thought...the one with the pointy tips were Spear Guys, and I know a few others had official names. Captain Syrup was also very prominent, she needs to come back >.< one of the first women Mario villains ._.;;

The 'Secret Level' music is in Mario Zone, actually. It's the 4th level. It's also in Tree Zone 4, Hippopotamus Zone, Space Zone Secret, Turtle Zone Secret... well, as you know, all the 'Secrets'.

I've played SML2 before, and SML3. Even though I never finished it I still think SML2 was better than 3

The misc level plays like the secret levels of the game, I don't really understand why didn't they put it into the Mario zone.

Ok I got them all. I always thought there was a secret exit in Mario Zone I missed. It didn't make sense that both ears looked different.

P.S. I checked game Faqs, IGN, etc and couldn't find anything.

I'll just run down the list of exits:
1. Mushroom House
2. Tree Zone 1
3. Tree Zone 2
4. Tree Zone 2 2nd exit
5. Tree Zone Secret
6. Tree Zone 3
7. Tree Zone 4
8. Tree Zone 5
9. Turtle Zone 1
10. Turtle Zone 2
11. Turtle Zone 2 2nd exit
12. Turtle Zone Secret
13. Turtle Zone 3
14. Hippo Zone
15. Space Zone 1
16. Space Zone 1 2nd exit
17. Space Zone Secret
18. Space Zone 2
19. Pumpkin Zone 1
20. Pumpkin Zone 2
21. Pumpkin Zone 2 2nd exit
22. Pumpkin Zone Secret 1
23. Pumpkin Zone 3
24. Pumpkin Zone 3 2nd exit
25. Pumpkin Zone Secret 2
26. Pumpkin Zone 4
27. Mario Zone 1
28. Mario Zone 2
29. Mario Zone 3
30. Mario Zone 4
31. Macro Zone 1
32. Macro Zone 1 2nd exit
33. Macro Zone Secret (leads straight to Macro Zone 4)
34. Macro Zone 2
35. Macro Zone 3
36. Macro Zone 4
37. Miscellaneous (that level on the overworld map which autoscrolls and only has goombas and paragoombas).
If you'd count this as a level exit: 38. Wario's Castle

So, as you can see, there are 37 (38) exits.

There were 32 LEVELS, but I don't know how many exits there are. I tried looking it up on GameFAQs for you, but none of the FAQs said anything

On-topic, I have only played SML1. It was a decent enough game, albeit very short, which is probably good since it lacks a save function.

How many exits were there in SML2?

SML2 was an awesome game. I remember playing that for hours and hours. I loved the Bunny Ears hat you'd get. (Was it bunny ears??) I remember fighting Wario and thinking he was so hard to beat.

SML2 is an awesome game, one of the last traditional 2D Mario games they've made (not counting remakes).... I haven't played the other two in awhile, though SML1 is a pretty fun little game, and I remember liking SML3...

SML2 is great about its variety of worlds and leveldesign, and of course the hard but extremely fun castle level. Some of the minibosses are great like the 3 lilpigs and the rat, some of them are not very good (Tatanga for example, because how can he killed by jump??) but overally fun with great replay value. One of my fav part, when the booes dance in the cemetery to the title music, when you finished the secret level... So hilarious!

SML3 in the other hand has a different strong point which are treasure hunt. That's so lovely in that game, and finding for secrets. Some minibosses like the first turtle and the baby bird are so great, and some levels like the trains too. I don't really like the boss fight here tough.

Yes, hence why it´s named SML3: Wario Land.

I played it on my computer quite a while ago.

Oh gahs, I haven't played these in so long... You play as Wario in SML3, right?

I´ve only played SML and SML3. I thought that both of them were great.

The final boss in SML was a joke, though. It wasn´t hard to figure out how to defeat him.
