You also forgot Metal Gear: Ghost Babel for the Gameboy Color (they renamed it "Metal Gear Solid" stateside and in Europe for better name recognition, but it's best to refer to it as Ghost Babel to remove confusion). It is most comparible gameplay-wise to Metal Gear 2: Solid Snake, though it adds elements from Metal Gear Solid. Like Snake's Revenge before it, and more recently the AC!D series (which happens to also be directed by Shinta Nojiri), Ghost Babel is not part of the official canon. It is set in an alternate timeline where only the original Metal Gear game's storyline has occured, and thus can be considered the third alternate sequel to it. Unless, like most fans, you want to ignore Snake's Revenge altogether

You also want to add Metal Gear for the MSX (or replace "Metal Gear (NES)" with it), as the NES port was rather poor (and the only reason people a giving it good reviews is because the original was so awesome that even a crappy port of it can be enjoyable if that's all you've played).

As for my favourite, I'm not sure. I played all of them except for Acid and the GBC game, but I only finished the first one (as well as Snake's Revenge, but that game sucked). Probably Solid Snake, but that isn't on the list anyway.

With all the referencing to Solid Snake's plot in the MGS games, you'd think Konami would actually want to release the damn game outside Japan, but eh.

No! Metal Gear 2: Solid Snake was the released for the MSX. And is canon over Snake's Revenge because Hideo Kojima was behind the wheel of Solid Snake.

MGS 3: Snake Eater

I liked it, of course the only game I would replay is the first one since it was shorter but the third one ruled. The camera though sucked. But story is much more interesting.

Well, firstly, you forgot Twin Snakes for Gamecube, and secondly, it didn't show up because you put an apostrophe in it (Snake's Revenge).

As for which is my favorite, I've no comment, since I've not played any of them enough.

I thought I added Snake's Revenge on there but for some reason it didn't show up

MGS 3 all the freaking way. It combined the awesome story like in MGS 1 and the action of MGS 2. It also unraveled many mysteries and was possibly the best game I played last year. It was also longer than the others, which is always a good thing.

Which Metal Gear game is your favorite? Mine is MGS2 and the orignal one. MGS2 was easy but I found it very fun. So which is yours?
