Ouch, that's gotta hurt
All I can say is hopefully it heals soon, and you'll get through it |

I got my pinky broken(hairline fracture, relatively not that bad) in soccer three years ago on my birthday(sept. 12) during soccer(while standing around) and it was swollen and I didn't even notice it was broken. The most unbearable thing was having it wrapped. I missed numerous games but the coolest thing was that I got to wear a "claw".(covered ring and little finger) The worst was trying to write with my right hand(the hand with the fractured finger) and ended up writing with my left most of the time. Or trying to.
Anyway, it may suck to have a jammed finger but you will pull through. |

Hmm... Long story but I once fractured my toe, so I suppose the same principle would apply to both, refrain from putting too much pressure on it, and try not use the finger too much till it heals, I recommend you get a X-ray just in case. |

Do you mean the same feeling you get when your finger bends all the way? Because that hurts. |

Trust me, using your other hand is easy.
It's going back to normal that's the hard part. A couple months back I nearly lost the tips of two fingers in the vegetable slicer at work (and by nearly I mean the blade only went about halfway through, as opposed to being completely severed and then reattached), and I couldn't use my right hand for two weeks, but by the end of my first day I could do just about anything except floss with just my left hand. But once it came time to start using my right hand again.. for the most part I could, but for about two weeks I was typing only with my left hand, because my right hand just couldn't remember how to type o.O I still haven't got the feeling back in those stupid fingertips. |

I dunno, Chris.
If I am, however, I'll have to serve the whole game. I brought our team back from a loss once because I was serving. |

Use your other hand for now. It sucks, but block out the pain and you'll do fine. |

I'm sorry to hear that. I've had only one of my fingers hurt like that sometime when I was younger (during an accident) and had to wear some finger cast or something from the hospital. It's fine now, of course.
Anyway, are you forced to play tomorrow? If not, I think you should just sit out, then... |

Yeah, I nearly broke my finger yesterday.
I was playing volleyball, and I hit the ball a strange way, hurting two of my fingers. One healed... however, one's bruised as hell and jammed. It's been taped together, and been healing. However... I can't pick stuff up too well- which sucks most in school. Can't wear a glove comfortably either. My right hand is perfectly fine, however... so if I play tomorrow, I'll just have to go it one-handed. |
