Be thankful you only had one d, or else that would been a quite hilarious post.

Anyway, I find his a quite intresting project indeed. I hadn't programmed anything GBA-related, but it dosen't seem to be hard, and i'm a quick learner though I don't have any experience with C/C++, but just Java... then Java is suppodly similar to C++ so... I do have a SDK for GBA though, but I hadn't honestly used it for much.

Well, seems like the group needs some kind of orginization. Like, a plan on what needs to be donem, some kind of milestones and so on. Otherwise it takes four months before anything happens again. :p

So when will everyone get organized?
And start this project?

I could do that, but I'm really not going to. Really, if anyone else who was on the project and had it ends up leaking it, theres nothing I can do, but you won't see it done by me. If anything, the only reason I'm using their kit at all is because of the sound engine--theres plenty of free development enviroments for GBA out there that many people would be able to use just as effectively. I simply figured since we're going for as acurate as possible, it'd only make sence to use the same tools the original authors did. The engine itself will be open-source (sans the sound engine/audio related parts for legal reasons) upon its completion, and I personally think that's more than generous.

Was searching for a GSC based hack for RSE and found this thread. I think it's fantastic that you're starting from scratch like this.

Besides editing text in Super Mario World, I have little in the way of ROM hacking ability. I would love to contribute in someway if it helps to get the ball rolling. I'd be happy to help with the project site if it hasn't been put together yet. I'm an experienced PHP and PERL coder, so if you need any help with it just say the word

It is very much so, however suffering from a severe and utter lack of organization seriously, I need to get all the staff together and figure out what we're going to do here. We need a starting point, and some things to work on. But I appreciate any help you can offer, it'd be great.

It's going to be on flash carts, and given to a few people. No selling will be going on, at least, not in any rertailers or online stores, at least.

Maybe the fact that it is slightly illegal.

I don't really understand this. If it is the official Nintendo GBA Development tools why not make a torrent and upload everywhere? I am sure this will help romhackers and people interested in Rom Development everywhere.

Light PKMN, great The more help, the better. Krusty, no big deal if you can't contribute. School and other stuff takes priority, I understand. To those who said they'd help in programming, I've PM'd you a temporary link to the dev tools. Jut let me know once you've gotten ahold of them, so I can take it down and not completly rape my bandwith

Your music? Hell yes I'm interested I'll get in touch with you on MSN or AIM or something.

Sukasa: Yeah, sorry about that. My host has been having some issues with his FTP lately so I hadn't been able to get it up. I'm planning to upload it sometimes tonight, so I'll PM you the link (and anyone else who's helping with programming who wants/needs it, just tell me so I can link you too). I'm not posting the link here for obvious reasons

I'm just waiting to get word on where I can get the Devkit, then I'll be able to start doing a bit of work familiarizing myself with the GBA and how to work it.

Santamoto-kun, when can we get the like to the devkit?
