100% burnt bacon for me, please. Its the only way I can fully enjoy it. |

Depends WHAT kind of bacon you buy, of course...
*<3's Maple Leaf* The pre-made bacon isn't that bad either (just microwave it and you're done) but it's pretty expensive. Turkey bacon too. |

Oh man; crispy bacon is awful. The crispier the bacon gets, the more disgusting the fat gets, and eventually I simply can't even stand to eat it. It's gotta be chewy (but not raw, of course). |

Crispy. Both by itself and on pizza. Not too too crisp but I definitely don't like it to be... well... chewy and tender. |

I don't eat it. No offense guys, but it really smells disgusting to me. |

If you want flat, crispy, slightly-greasy bacon strips, try this:
-Take some strips of bacon, line them up on a plate, then put another plate flat on top of it. -Set the microwave to 2:30min (I think on pwr 10) -Lay the bacon strips on some paper towels to absorb the grease -Flip them over, back to the plates -Cook for another 2:30min You have perfect bacon, enjoy! |

I can only eat Bacon with pancakes. I like it not too crispy, not too raw. Just in between. If it's not in between I won't eat it. |

Soft, but not greasy. There's this nice lean stuff that my mom gets, it's always good. |

Originally posted by Crystal Shards Ah, in that case, have you ever tried beef bacon? I know a lot of people who don't eat pig's bacon for whatever reasons (usually cultural/religious), substitute it for beef bacon. My ex had a whole lot of it when he was in Malaysia, for example, as pigs' bacon is very hard to find there. |

I like my bacon still attatched to the pig's ass.
Pig is one of the foods I refuse to eat, granted their intelligence; smarter than most dogs, actually. I'd no sooner eat bacon, ham, or pork than I would fido. |

I'm going to say crispy, but not so much that if you were to bend a piece of it, it'd snap in half Just enough so that it's not soggy. By far my favorite way to eat bacon (aside from just eating it plain) is to toast two pieces of bread, and put either some slices of cheese, or peanut butter on them, then put the bacon on top of that. Second in line would be hamburgers
I actually don't eat bacon all that much (as half the time I want some, it's been eaten already), but it's nice to have from time to time. Since we're discussing bacon what do those of you that have eaten it think of the stuff that's pre-cooked, so all you have to do is warm it up in the microwave? I don't like it at all. It's far too dry for my tastes. However, we've only ever had the stuff one or two times, so we may have just gotten a bad box, but I'll take bacon that needs to be fully cooked any day I'm getting tired of seeing the word "bacon" |

I would love bacon on all kinds of foods I make and including hamburgers. Crispy is better. |

I prefer canadian, above else. Other than that, I like mine with a nice crunch to it.
Soft bacon has its merits, though... For example, as we all know it goes well on pizza, but have you tried it on a salad? Real bacon bits, that is, not the fake kind that you get in Stop & Shop in a plastic can. They go extremely well like that. Alternatively, bacon bits go excellently in tomato soup, making an actual tomato-bacon soup is a great little cooking adventure, and it's got just the right taste for someone looking for the great taste of bacon and tomatoes together. In the Die at 30 Diet, bacon plays a supreme role above all other foods, going so far as to actually become its own food group on the DA30 Pyramid. A standard meal would have a nice, greasy cheeseburger with bacon bits on the burger, lettuce, cheese, and infused with the bun, with a side of bacon-flavored ice-cream, bacon-covered cheese pizza with nacho cheese sauce on the side for dipping, and a heaping plate of bacon for those of you who are keen-minded about your health. It's very suggested that one dips the bacon in the nacho cheese, as well, but not before buttering it thoroughly with non-fat-free vegetable oil spread. To wash it all down, get yourself a nice, warm, unsolidified can of lard (for those pesky arteries - we don't want them empty now, do we?), and finish the meal off with dessert, mkII: a completely-stacked bacon-cream pie, with bacon grease icing and a light, flaky crust made of -- you guessed it -- bacon. As you can see, bacon is clearly an essential part of the Die at 30 diet.
