Try removing all the extensions, obviously :p

I got the "image URL instead of image" problem before , but that was because my FTP client actually uploaded the filename instead of the file itself...

I'm using firefox 1.5 and haven't had that problem once so it seems completely random to me.

Yes, but this seems to be completely random. Though it hasn't happened lately, or at school.

doesnt happen to me here, but it does to my brother at other places...especially forums...so im not sure if its firefox itself, or the server.

If the server is not correcly configured, that might happen.

I know for sure this server runs on out of the box apache that works perfectly well with Firefox so uhm... it's gotta be one of your extensions. Since I seriously have no problems. :/ And i'm using latest Firefox version.

Acmlm's Board: Very not standards compliant
Microsoft's sites: Very not standards compliant

I wouldn't totally rule out the problem occuring on both sites..

But if no one else has the problem, I suspect one of your extensions.

Well I just got it on MSDN, so it's either FF, one of the extensions, or a coincidental problem occuring in both places at the same time. I'm somehow doubting the latter.

That might just be the V1.5 replacement for the 'image has errors' text, I don't think it's related. I'm just trying to determine if this is a problem with the board, FF, or something I've fucked with.

No, I haven't had that, but I have had some weird things happening with images -- where it's shown me an image filename instead of an image when browsing directly to the location...
