You know, I don't think I've ever seen anyone offer money for this sort of thing before.
What's with the desperate need for this? As I recall, there was something like four minigames in GB Camera, and none of them were particularly noteworthy. |

I asked in the Help forum to see if this would be ok:
Is there anyone out there proficient enough in ASM hacking that could do this for me for a little PayPal compensation? Thanks again for the replies. |

It might work... but you'd need alot of ASM skills. I've seen it done with the GBA before but thats something entirly different. |

Two things:
1. I've seen the extension ".gbs" used for Super Game Boy-enabled games. 2. You can't rip mini-games and play them standalone. It just won't work. |

No no no... .gbs is Game Boy music rips. You really can't just extract a minigame from a ROM, it's all one big executable file. You'd have to do a ton of ASM hacking and basically disassemble all the related code, then strip out unrelated things and reassemble it into a new ROM. |

Hey everyone, did a fair amount of searching and am still in need of some expert advice
I'd like to rip a mini-game from a Gameboy rom (The Gameboy Camera to be exact, which I believe is a .gbs romtype??) and then be able to use it as a stand alone rom. In desperate need of someone to point me in the right direction, I can usually figure things out with a couple good links! Thanks!! |
