I was the wise man. I didn't get caught. They all know I did it. They couldn't prove it though. Plus we didn't have to do anything for a week.

Heh, it's the substitute teacher that bothers me the most. Let's see... Ah, Mr. E (Yes, that's his name) is a good example of how not to sub.
He hands us some work, the class is silent, and he fucking puts on an iPod and plays (from what I heard) SMA4, Jedi Power Battles, Kingdom Hearts:CoM, FFIII, Super Mario 64 DS, etc. I'm trying to take a test and I keep hearing Mario shouting "Mama Mia", "Waaaaaaaaaaaiii", and "Just what I needed!" What's even more annoying is hearing Sora shouting "Oh eh oo ah take that, ahhh, let's go freeze heal heal heal" and summoning Cloud every second shouting "Hooooooop Hoooooop Ha ha". He is an ass.

I was terrible in Tech Core (computer class) last year..
In Feburary 2006, we were all done with everything that class had to offer, so basically, we were allowed to do whatever we wanted to (except have cell phones, iPods, etc.). I brought a flash drive with a whole bunch of NES, SNES, GBA, N64, and DS emulators, complete with a crapload of ROMs. I put it on EVERY computer. They're still there, since the teachers don't know how to search through the computer preferences.

Haha, yeah, I did a few silly things like that. In one class I was in, there were 3 computers that were frequently used to type or research assignments. Trouble is, I'd get some assignment that required looking things up online, but the computers were constantly hogged up by people using MSN Messenger. Then one day, MSN just mysteriously stopped working on one of them... _¬
Also, their censor, despite being server-side, for some reason affected only IE. When they learned of this, they blocked all programs named fire Alastor |

Posts: 5810/5814 ...now wouldn't changing grades be a surefire way to get expelled?
| Somehow in my first year of Social Science, I managed to get stuck in an Economics class with a drunk who left after 4-5 weeks. That meant that the new teacher had to do 13 weeks of material in 8 weeks... it's not that he didn't teach, but he didn't teach well on top of it. As for the new teacher, she was very nice and explained the material well. Tanks |

Posts: 1179/1181 Reminds me of when I trojan'd my English teacher's comp. Since we were all doing our Powerpoints and we had to connect our flash drives to the main computer... >8)
| All they had is McAfee I didn't do anything too bad, though; just change a couple of my mates' grades I had also shut down the filters, but it was in vain, as the network was filtered server-side as well The teacher suspected something, but she never figured out who did it Koitenshin +∞ |
Posts: 862/873 My worst school offense with computers happened back in the 8th grade. I was just looking at the settings in Internet Explorer when the School's Network Administrator walks up. He tells me to stop looking at it because "You don't even know what you're looking at." Still pisses me off to this day. So just to show him that I didn't know what I was looking at, the school network mysteriously went down for an entire week. *Halo appears above head*
| They brought in professionals and they couldn't disable the system I set up. So lo and behold they had to wipe the entire system for the school and start fresh. HyperHacker |
Posts: 5031/5072 It took ages to get my account activated too, but that was only because they gave me the wrong password and took forever to fix it.
| It was fun though when they forgot to enable the 10MB per-account size limits. The server had like a 250GB hard drive or something, so... that was nice until idiots abused it installing several gigabytes worth of games and they caught on. But they did it again next year! Though I'd say the funniest computer-related incident that happened in my school was when I sat down at one of the computers in the lab and discovered the last user forgot to log off... and was the network administrator. I'll take back some of those words =] I think I should mention something that happened at school. Computer rooms everthing is blocked, accept all educational site and this site ( =D ) but the computer administrators are sooo strict and annoying, they wouldn't even activate my internet even when I showed them a signiture that my mum confirmed it. I went through 5 confirmation sheets and they didn't activate it. Infact in one section of the class I got up and went to my teacher to ask her to plead with the admins to activate my account. Guess what another Sheet but this time they activated it =D That took up 1 term SamuraiX |

Posts: 5017/5072 Ah, school. The place where Notepad is a virus, swearing, wearing a hat or setting fire to the building nets a three-day suspension as "punishment" ( | No I didn't set fire to the building (nor wear a hat), but it did state this in the rule book. Yes I realize the irony of complaining about peoples' spelling and then starting a sentence with "and", I just don't care. Dragoshi |
Posts: 40/57 ...Huh. Well, I have nothin'. Mainly 'cause, A. i've had bad memory, and B. i've been homeschooled since 3rd grade, so nothing bad or good happened. Though, from what i've been told most of the teachers I had pre-homeschool, minus the one from first grade were pretty...Meh. :/ | SamuraiX |
Posts: 254/302 Originally posted by Chainlink1061Originally posted by Ponlo Kids these days. Call up a well-known college, tell them you're a gifted child, and I'm sure if this is the case, you can work something out. In fact, if you're intelligent enough, they'll do it for free. Start a project and request state funding. All of my teachers are awesome, although ECON 102 is boring as hell. This is a long thread. Click here to view it.
