Most ISPs won't give a damn unless you're having some neglible effect on the performance of everyone else. Even then, they don't usually shut you off before giving you a warning letter, unless you are a real bandwidth killer.
Have you tried calling Roadrunner for another copy? They probably won't refuse. |

I can't find it anywhere, and I really don't want the service shut off without any warning.
All I know is that they don't allow servers (which I can easily Disable in BSD/Linux) -- BTW, How well is this policy enforced in NY, I hear in Hawaii nobody really cares... anyway, I need to be pointed to the TOS for Roadrunner in New York for previous Adelphia (Now Time Warner) Customers. I live in a small town that isn't listed on the Roadrunner site, but it is Close to Glens Falls, NY and Saratoga Springs, NY. I also hear theres a 10 minute streaming limit (which I've really exceeded) for video, but I just want to check if these rumors are true... I've downloaded a lot too... (I'm downloading PC-BSD right now...) I have to say, legally I don't think they can bind me to anything! They gave Terms of Service agreement to me ever, and there is no copy that I can find available (I've scoured rr.com several times no to no avail). any help is greatly appreciated. |
