For those of us who don't like shiny metal things. |

I tend to emulate on my Macbook, and I MUCH prefer the Brushed Metal look to other styles.
So yeah, great job, thanks for this. |

Silly RS.
We have had VBA for years. This just changes the interface from 'Aqua' to 'Brushed Metal'. |

So this allows Mac users to use Visualboy Advance. Sweet, not that I will be using it since I use Windows PC. |

Aye. I couldn't use it (well, I'd say 80% of us can't) but we can still look =) |

I personally am a lover of Brushed Metal interface very much. A screenshot below:

It's just a hack of a file to force VBA to use Apple's 'Brushed Metal' instead of 'Aqua' for the menu screens, preferences and the like. Not much to see.
Being the only other Mac user on this board it seems, I tested it out and it works fine, but then I was never hugely keen on Brushed Metal anyhow. Nice job though. |

Before you comment on this, I must state two things:
-This will only work in the Mac OS X Port of VisualBoy Advance, version 1.7.4, most likely. -I am aware that the modification is primitive and requires nearly no effort. However, it gives it a nice look. Now down to business. Installation is rather simple. Drag the NIB file to the following directory: Applications Folder > VisualBoyAdvance 1.7.4 > VisualBoyAdvance > Contents > Resources > English.lproj Your mission is to replace the NIB file with this one. If it doesn't work, rename the original NIB file to "Main~.nib", and drag the "new" Main.nib there also, without overwriting anything. Let me know if you're having issues. |
