Posts: 166/180 I've never been bitten by any spider. I've had them crawl on me, at which point I jump like 6 feet off the fucking floor and strip down to my underpants. I'm not scared of them if I know where they are, just when they crawl on me I flip out.

Posts: 128/173 I love most arachnids. Mostly tarantulas (brown-haired because the black-haired ones lunge at me) and daddy long-legs. I have gotten so many spider bites that I purposely take longer naps when I am bored to compare bites I have had bites up to about 3 inches in diameter of swelling. Btw to those who believe the "Poisonous Daddy Long-Legs Myth" heres the link to disprove or to just say it hasn't been tested.

Posts: 235/258 There's not much in the UK or northern Europe that compares to insects that live in the more tropical places in the world. Up here it's too cold and wet for 'em. The spiders I see are mostly pathetic and tiny. Even the tree spiders I see from time to time (a large variety where I live) are harmless. I have been attacked by a 1 inch hornet though, that freaked me out.
