I'd just be like "oh, fuck!" and leave the room. Then return later to bonk you on the head.

Perhaps you need more sweetness inside than out?

Maybe I'm so sweet on the inside it's oozing out my pores? ^_________^

One word, hairspray. Stick the bastards to the floor then light them on fire.

I would only scream if I saw that the spider was on me. If they were like on the wall or something, I would more likely gasp.

My reaction would be something like...

"That's odd. Why are there so many spiders here?"

Then I'd just step on them. They don't bug me too much. </bad pun>

My reaction to the spiders would not be girlish screams no, it would be to find a pair of cans of insect spray and go on an overkill rampage.

I would drown the bastards in spray. DROWN.

I would be more likely to attack you with a blunt object than scream.

Its kind of a reaction sort of thing.

I should just bring a box full of spiders if we have an Acmlm convention. I'd like to hear all the girlish screams come from the most of you. Yes, I draw amusement from mortally scaring people. I don't know why people find spiders scary, that alwasy confused me besides the fact that they can bite you.

They're attracted to me more than others, if I'm outside at dark, I'll be bitten by a mosquito, ALWAYS. (Usually more than once)

Quoted for truth,

I AM A MOSQUITO MAGNET. And I hate it. I always come in with more mosquito bites than anyone else (well, with the possible exception of my dad). They attack my ankles most of all.

ALSO being quoted for truth. It's ANNOYING when that happens. Hell, I have to deal with them inside and outside. Though, i've sometimes been able to swat them away, so I don't have to deal with it too much.

But, on the subject of spiders...Yea. Arachnophobia. I'm usually a little scared of them even from a distance, which makes it a pain in trying to kill them. Hell, one time I tried to kill a spider in the bathroom with toilet paper wrapped over a shoe. ;; I did, but the toilet paper was a little unescesarry. Though, spiders rarely appear...And, i've usually had moths before, but...There've been none since last summer.

I've never been bitten by any spider. I've had them crawl on me, at which point I jump like 6 feet off the fucking floor and strip down to my underpants. I'm not scared of them if I know where they are, just when they crawl on me I flip out.

Hell, I even have a tarantula, his name is Inspector Zenigata.

Yeah... harvestmen (DLLegs) aren't even arachnids, right?

I love most arachnids. Mostly tarantulas (brown-haired because the black-haired ones lunge at me) and daddy long-legs. I have gotten so many spider bites that I purposely take longer naps when I am bored to compare bites I have had bites up to about 3 inches in diameter of swelling. Btw to those who believe the "Poisonous Daddy Long-Legs Myth" heres the link to disprove or to just say it hasn't been tested.

Edit: Speaking of bee/wasp related stings my uncle has developed an immunity to the slight toxin of the sting as he has been stung a literally counted 304 times by falling into 3 yellow jacket (or whatever they are) nests when he was lawn mowing himself. Happens at least 1 time every year.

Does that mean that if you get bitten by a radioactive desk-drawer, you become desk-drawer man? If so, then my name isn't what I think it is.

I have been bitten by so many spiders and by so many different kinds, it ain't funny. I don't even fear spiders anymore. Only ones I'm scared of are the harmless-natured hairy guys, the ones that grow to large proportions and are harmless in nature but fierce-looking in... looks...

My worst one was itchy. Then the skin actually looked like a million little bubbles. Filled with air. And there was like a hole in the middle, and pus kept bubbling out. It was really weird.

I've never been stung by a hornet, but I've been popped by a few wasps and bees before, and I once stepped into a yellow jacket nest while push-mowing the yard. I'd have been in big trouble if I'd not been wearing jeans even in the middle of summer.

There's not much in the UK or northern Europe that compares to insects that live in the more tropical places in the world. Up here it's too cold and wet for 'em. The spiders I see are mostly pathetic and tiny. Even the tree spiders I see from time to time (a large variety where I live) are harmless. I have been attacked by a 1 inch hornet though, that freaked me out.

I feel like I've been so poorly prepared for the rest of the world. I swear when I travel the world I'm going to be a big wuss when I see anything with more than four legs
