I was a big fan of The Simpsons way back but for the past 4 to 5 years I stopped watching them.

It got to the point that I didn't find them as funny as before, as many fans have stated previously.

I am though hoping for good things concerning the movie this year.

I was there the other day watching all of the movie trailers and finding out which seasons had my favourite episodes on it. I can't wait until the movie comes out...although it will probably be a month before the crowd dies down.

1) i think the change the writers of the simpson that's why it's getting a little worse
2) yeah Higsby they probly did use all the good ideas for the simpson episode's
3)thats why in one of the south park episode's they say the simpson all ready did every thing
4)Homer was giving pinchy a hot bath but then finds out because of the smell he cooked him then eats him by his self
5)i cant remember what happened after that ethier i think it ended after that

Thats when Homer Cooks Pinchy (his lobster for a very short time) by accident. I can't remember what happens in the rest of the episode though...

I watch Family Guy, South Park, etc but my favourite out of them all is the SImpsons. Lately though I have found the newer episodes arn't as good as the older ones. Altough after 18 seasons I guess their best ideas have already been used. As for the movie, I can't wait. I'll probably see it the first week if I can get in the theater.

Wow, this is an exciting discussion.

Personally, I think The Simpsons have jumped the shark. That's not to say I won't enjoy a new episode every now and then (they're getting better than they were a few years back) but it's certainly not as clever or funny as it once was either.

It still comes out with a few little gems, and I am curious about the movie.

I miss old Simpsons though. I can watch that stuff over and over and over. I don't actively set out to do so, but it's the kind of real quality that you can just... watch.. even though you've seen it before. Usually if there's nothing on TV, I'm quite happy to watch an episode of The Simpsons. Futurama has a lot of the same rewatchability

The newer Treehouse of Horror episodes annoy the hell out of me. I don't mind some of the older ones...

I need to go back and rewatch Treehouse of Horror V. Particularly The Shinning
