*boing* LOL!
"Palette" is the right word. Out of joking... Well, I know what that guy mean. It depends of the game. Actually, Tile Molester has an option to rearrange the sprite tiles, to fix their visibility. Its website had some examples, pictures of a few NES games. However, the thing might not be through that way... but to reduce the window area into a smaller column. For Rockman 2, I use 8 tiles long for the window width, adjusting the CHR data to match the sprite tiles. Well... well... I'd like to post a screenshot of this... perhaps later... to clarify my idea. |

I'm currently working with TM myself right now. First, I pretty sure your hacking SM64 right? if so, go to veiw and change the mode to 1 dimensional. it helped me back when I was trying to edit SM64. If this doesn't help, you might want to go to image, canvas size, and change the # of columns until you see whatever you want to be seeing. I've never tried the 2nd method for SM64 but it might help. |

Uhh... as quick answer, no.
Next, what game are you trying to edit? |

I own a mac and a mac only... I am using Tile molester and the sprites are always spread out across the rom and not only that but different parts of one sprite are in many different places. Some pictures that I see of hacking nes roms for example, the sprites are all in one spot so they are easier to edit... Is there anyway for me to fix this problem or is this the way tile molester was meant to be used? |
