Personally my favorite is thr Forest Maze from Mario RPG
I don't know why I like it maybe because of that remix that gave it lyrics but it always has that feel to it that I like. |

The TTYD Doopliss battle music is awesome.
Forest maze from SMRPG is good, too, like SNN said. it's almost... hypnotizing...  Wiggler is your king...

The Underwater music from SMB1. Reminds me from the live action Mario Bros. Movie. (I do not know who play that song where the Goombas are dancing in the elevators.)

But Super Mario RPG sound channel "perfection" was screwed up.
Both ZSNES and SNES9X as well as BSNES couldn't emulate the sound perfectly. So If you think that the tunes in SMRPG were good, Play it on console and you'll see what they Really sounded like. But I personally like all SMRPG tunes, also Paper Mario 2. M&L Music sucked though. Also, Super Mario Land 1-2 tunes were good too. *Hums Chai Kingdom theme* |

Yeah, I just downloaded the SPCs for Super Mario RPG.
Most of the songs in that game are great. I´m starting to like the Seaside town song too. |

I know for the longest time I could easily get the second world theme to Super Mario Land stuck in my head.
Aside from that, practically anything from Super Mario RPG had its elements of listenability...and I mean for hours straight on end. Gotta love Winamp plugins for SPCs. |

Oh wow....so many..I'll name a few.
Yoshi's Island: Bonus Theme: This song has a sweet ring to it. The instruments sound great, and it has great pitch. Paper Mario: TTYD: Rogueport: Also one of my favourites. Don't shoot me, but I really think the song is catchy - though I have to admit it doesn't suit a broken down piece of crap like the town itself 
Paper Mario: TTYD: X-Naut Fortress: Best. Song. Ever. Period. (well from Mario that is) It just sounds great, and it must have been really freaking hard to compose 
Mario Kart: Double Dash: Rainbow Road: One part of it is a remix of MK64's Rainbow Road. That's enough to make me <3 it. Super Mario RPG: Forest Maze: If you don't like this song you should be short. Nuff said

I like the sky platform stages' music in SMW. It just, like gives me energy.(wha
All the music in SMW uses the same phrase, and it was the best in all the Mario Series - and in the music that uses the phrase, I liked the sky platform stage best. Second is the music versus Culex in SMRPG. It's exactly not Mario music, but still, it's nice. It seems kind of "serious", and makes the battle more "battlistic"whatever that is. lol And also, I like these: SMW Sky Platform SMRPG vs. Culex |

The entire SML3 soundtrack. Hey, it's still technically a Mario game, and it is close to one of my all time favorite Gameboy soundtracks. The game just had good music (and that train theme ) I would add more detail but I'm tired and can't think straight right now sorry. |
