Um... Wow. I can't find any problem with that, it seems pretty easy to distinguish the various parts of the image, and that moon is spot-on. I can't find anything wrong with it at all, nice job

Well I'm using the dimensions that the guy over at nesreproductions.com gave me. I'm going to end up losing a little bit of the bottom of the image anyways though. I'm going to need to make space for the part of the label that folds over to the top of the cart. I brightened Olrox up a little bit to make him come out more, and I put a pale purple glow around the castle. I put a red glow around the moon, but I might get rid of that.

It seems either too skinny, or too long for a NES cart. As for the art styles not matching, you could always use your own art? =P

I'd say the contrast is fine: The main character, and the title stick out most of all, and if I was younger and seen that art on a cart, I'd probably pick it up based off of that.

It's tough to find something to really improve on, but if I had to pick one thing, it would be the face on the left side (Dracula's?) It just seems too dark to me, along with the building right next to it. I know it is Castlevania, and it has always been a dark, eerie game, but I would still like to be able to see these things a bit more clearly.

Other then the brightness, it looks really good. Well done so far, a worthy cover for a worthy hack.

Yeah, I'll see what I can do, I might mess around with the contrast. The hard thing about the castle and the vampire (Count Olrox) is that they were both taken from photographs, so I had to mess with them a lot so the didn't look too out of place. Thanks for the comments guys.

It looks nice so far. I especially like the graphic style, seems like it would fit in perfectly on the NES cart

I think I've said this before, but I plan on getting the CV hack that optomon and I are working on an actual NES cart, and I'm designing some label art for it. I would like a little input as to how this idea looks:

(Put it in a link because it takes a while to load.) I want to try to make this looks as good as I possibly can, so hit me with your worst. I would like tons of constructive criticism. (Except for *picture A* doesn't have the same art style as *picture B* There's really nothing I can do about that.)
