Yeah, I changed it from $05, $15, $25 to the matching green range ($0B, $1B, $2B).
This is just to differentiate it more from the original. Blue was too close to the text, and Purple too similar to the original for my taste. |

I thin both title screens are pretty top-notch. I noticed that you changed the palette on the completely new title screen (unless I'm losing my mind in my old age). I like the original palette better personally, but it's still pretty good. |

Due to some people bitching about the new title screen on a Shmup board, I've added an alternate title screen patch into the same archive as above. It looks like so:
This is more true to the original. Patching one over the other hasn't been tested, so use either on a clean ROM, please. |

Those are some nice screens Boss, I have some time to kill so I'll give this hack a spin. It looks like it'll keep me on my toes, nice title screen too.  |

Recca - X10DED is a piece of shit. Not only did it disable access to the standard game from the main menu, but the method used to force Hard Mode made the hidden level select code not even work (Therefore barring access to the normal game via that method). So I thought I could do better, and I have. Recca - Pure What all's different from X10DED, you may ask? 1: New title screen. 2: New mode is available on the title screen: "Zanki Attack". This is the same as either the normal or hard game, except enemies explode into bullets! 3: Normal/Hard mode can now be toggled by hitting Select on the title screen. You'll most certainly know when hard is selected... 4: satsu and Gideon Zhi were kind enough to translate the text of the Sound Test, so the game is entirely english now. 5: New menu font.
