Makes me wonder if Sega re-used that idea in the whole Rub-rabbits concept/Feel the Magic... |

Apparently, Ristar was going to be a rabbit. And his name was going to be FEEL. Get it? Feel The Rabbit? I'm supposing that they changed Feel to Ristar because of that. |

Ristar was kinda like the "we won't sucumb to the SNES just yet" sorta' thing. Kinda like a last bang to show that SEGA wasn't all that bad. I think it kind of showed the better side of SEGA with this game. |

WHOA
Yeah, Ristar was fun. Came out at the edge of the Genesis' life though, but as ALASTOR said ... a lot of people have played and loved it. Its a shame Ristar didn't live on after that. But, looking at what's become of the Sonic Team, maybe it was for the best. |

Yeah, Ristar is a pretty badass game. But it's not underrated; pretty much everyone who plays it agrees on its badass
By the by, Sega often scrapped stuff to make deadlines. |

Well for one, Ristar almost was an idea for SONIC the HEDGEHOG?
Secondly, The Japanese version of the game was ALL IN ENGLISH? Thirdly, they SCRAPPED a few levels and even a boss battle with a TAPIR from the Japanese Version and scrapped most of Ristar's extra poses from there too? Ristar REALLY interests me. That game is underrated, but it has so many... interesting tidbits. Does anyone know about these facts? They interest me to no end. Also, how the HECK do you pronounce "Awaueck"? |
