Could be an allergic reaction to something. Honestly, I think thats where my asthma is coming from...or its just in my head, I don't know, but anyway, she should check out an allergist and/or a specialist in asthma and the likes.

My first thought was Asthma, hmm.

Tonsillitis is another option, but I didn't think it impaired your breathing ability to the point of passing out.

Has her heart been tested for specific illnesses? I know that they give general tests to look for abnormalities in your heartbeat, but a lot of times it takes a more specific doctor, like a cardiologist, to be sure. I also have a problem of passing out more often than I should, and I was given an electrocardiogram to test something. I'm not sure exactly what it tested or determined though, sorry.

It was also suggested that I take an echo cardiogram, but I never did for one reason or another. That's a much more specific test that looks for heart diseases or abnormalities through an ultrasound. Ask your girlfriend if she ever got that test.

Has her doctor checked for Tonsilitis? I had a reasonably notable case of it when I was a young child and it severely impaired my ability to breathe properly.

I'm not exactly sure where to put this. First of all, it's not about me, but my girlfriend.

Sometimes, she get's a really hard time breathing, she even fainted some times. It can happen when she's sitting still as well as when she's running. The weird part is, it's apparently not ASTMA. She's been tested for many various things including ASTMA and problems with her heart. At one point, she got some ASTMA medicine, but... I don't know... She's also had a little overweight since she was very small, even though she didn't eat unhealthy.

Apart from that, she's just been a bit stange her whole life. She was always a fast learner. She took her first steps before she was crawling, she read books aloud for the other kids when she was 5 or 6 years old, and she's spent the first 10 years of her life in the top of a tree, sort of. Now she's almost 16 and many people mistake her for being at least 20. Her breast size is already what we in Denmark call an F-cup... or actually... almost a G-cup. (Only meant to point out that she is early in development)

Anyway, I just wanted to hear if any of you can connect some of these things or something, or have heard about something similar before. It's not that much of a problem, I'm just concerned for my girl's well-being.

Edit: She also shows many symptoms of being ADHD and/or DAMP.

She also has what her mother calls "squirrel mania". Through her entire life she has always kept things mixed up in small messy piles scattered throughout the home. Her mother just turned two of her bags upside down, and it was the same. Random items just mixed up in a complete mess. In one bag was a passport, a pair of glasses, a piece of chocolate, a pair of socks, a pair of eating sticks, an MP3 player, an empty Gameboy bag, ear plugs, etc. In the other (which is the back for her laptop), several pencils, a tooth brush, a box that used to contain a bracelet, etc.
