Originally posted by Xkeeper I'll do whatever. The only other person I could go up against is my cousin Zac, and since we have to use the same computer AND he's 8, I tend to get killed on a 2P game just because I'm playing with him. Plus, it'd be my first time for cross-computer play, so it'd be a tutorial or something. Unless that part is an automatic disqualifier...well, you get what I mean, right? |

Originally posted by Jagori I never knew you could do that... Also, having beaten the game several times, I know where the exits are, but actually getting them all is still tough. Tubular, Mondo, and Outrageous still irk me. |

I am open for multiplayer of this game (or any other good non-competitive 2P game) so if you have any requests... |

Yep, castles #6 and #3 are my least favourite of the bunch. Mainly because of the bosses, but the level itself in #6 is no picnic either. |

I hated Wendy's Castle with a passion... |

I can't remember for sure, but I wouldn't be surprised if I've never actually beaten Soda Lake the normal way. I always just go under everything. |

Tubular was hard the first time I played it. Now, it isn't tough. I got the patterns down and such.
Then again, I'm a bit rusty now, so... maybe I wouldn't do it the first time. Now I want to play multiplayer. |

I used to despise Tubular with a passion, but now I can beat it in 3 lives tops without using any tricks or power ups and thats if I'm having extremely bad luck. Tubular was the level that took me the longest to get the hang of though. I remember being stuck on that level for days when I first played it, but then again I was like 6. I always did think outrageous was harder though. It didn't take me as long to beat but there is just so much crap in that level I almost always get hit at least once. Valley Fortress is actually my favorite level. The spikes at the end always used to kill me, but once you get the pattern down its extremely easy. Actually, over the years I sort of made it my mission to become insanely good at all the levels known for being a major pain in the ass. I even like to fly over that huge lava pit in Roys Castle just for fun, though admittedly I never bothered to fool with it until about a year ago. Now I die on the easy levels! I also didn't know about the cheese bridge exit for literally years, and it took me a while to find the special world as well. When a friend of mine told me about soda lake I was convinced he was lying lol. Then it took me forever to actually get that secret exit. I can't believe that this is the only game that actually took me YEARS to completely beat when it is so easy and now I can finish it in under an hour. But then again, this was the first game that I absolutely loved to play as a kid so i guess it cool I got to relish it. |

Heh, if you're having trouble with Tubular, stay away from any of Anikiti's hacks. Some of his levels make Tubular look like Yoshi's Island 1.
*Cirvante remembers the "Athletic ______" levels. |

Well.... Sometimes, if I'm really careful, I can get through the level pretty easily, and without getting hit (A requirement to beat it, though). Technically.... That happens pretty often. O_o But I still avoid it like the plague. |

I'm the only one who have no problems with the tubular level? |

Hah. I never beat that level in my life without using a Blue Yoshi to eat the Koopa for wings. |

I'm not sure which was harder - Valley Fortress or Tubular.
I have incredibly slow reaction times, so the moving spikes in Valley Fortress killed me more times than I can count. It looks like this thread has turned into a general SMW discussion thread. |
