As Kirbynite finishes speaking, the room begins to shake violently. Rocks begin to shake down from the roof, and the entire foundation shakes... As a gigantic metal fist crashes through the floor, and then the roof, sending the mysterious villian and Fawful spiraling into the distance, where they eventually dissepear in a Team Rocket-esque gleam.

The fist continues to move up, until the entire giant robot can be seen. Big, circular wire-frame glasses shine dramatically on a pale face, topped with metallic, frizzy brown hair. The robot's figure was lanky and slender, clothed in a metallic lab coat, a white undershirt, and black pants, complete with a belt and black dress shoes. The forehead of the robot opened, and out leapt a figure whom the robot was clearly modeled after - Melvin Phillip Gurio, the current president of Japan. Following him were his cohorts, Smithy and Booster - the former of which was a well-built bright red reploid with a shining black visor over his eyes, and the latter a green suit-wearing reploid with a matching fedora and a rather rugged beard.

Melvin landed harmlessly on the ground, his accomplices landing behind him, all three kicking up small clouds of dust and posing dramatically, with the sun behind them and the robot, making for a rather heroic scene.

I've always loved Power Rangers - everyone seems to think it's stupid, but I was never there for the stereotypes or the story or whatever. For me, it was always about the gigantic "Monster of the Day" growing to ginormous propotions ("Magic wand! Make my monster GROOOOOOWWWW!") and then the Megazord appearing and beating the crap out of a guy in a costume.

I cried when the Megazord got destroyed in the first season.

An interesting note is you actually DON'T have to use the RF cord for the SNES. If you've got an N64 or a Gamecube, you can use the S-Video cable from either of them on the SNES. Yes, that's right - Nintendo made the smart move of using the same S-Video cable for years on end.

Melvin: <Kirbynite! Fawful's magnet completely wiped Smithy and Booster's hard drives, and half of my nanobots are disabled, so I'm aging normally and I don't understand English anymore!>


Melvin looks up into the night sky, and sees the moon moving closer and closer. He immediately realizes what the Female Computer Voice is trying to say.


Melvin: <Uh>


Meanwhile, Smithy and Booster are completely oblivious to everything going on around them, and the two reploids are dancing around while wearing nothing but white briefs with green leaves on the front.


Smithy: Yatta! Yatta!

Booster: Tohsen kakujitsu!

Smithy: Yatta! Yatta!

Booster: Nihon daihyoh, yannaru kurai kenkoh da!

Smithy: Everybody say Yatta!
