ARM's both the name of the company and the generic given to the processors they make - some of which are used in Palms. The actual ARM instruction set is quite complex, but THUMB is quite straightforward.

Usual way to sign contributions is to stick 4 tildes (edit: not 5, my bad) in a row, i.e. something like

--~~~~

gets automatically changed into your username (linked to your user page) on the wiki and a timestamp.

You might find it helpful to start out at first finding data in a game that has already been hacked - that way, you'll know where you -should- be seeing things happen, and you'll know the sort of things to look out for when you're venturing into fresh waters.
