| You know... using IE as much as I do... I think I know what your problem really was. Hotmail sucks as much as or more than IE.  No, seriously. When my stepfather used his Hotmail address, we got unbelievable amounts of spyware. Same when I used mine. In other words, while IE might suck, your problem is probably Hotmail. |

| I don't dislike it. *picks up a shield to soften the incoming blows* I'll gladly admit it's not as perfect as many people say it is (those interior levels are annoying as hell). But I don't think it's a bad game. Of course, I plan to get Tony Hawk's Underground 2 before I get Halo 2. And I also plan to get a Playstation 2 before I get Halo 2. (Sadly, current Playstation's not doing so well...) |

| Well... let's see... we have two swords in storage, one appearing to be the epitome of genericness... I'd take a picture, but as I said - they're in storage. I also had a staff of unknown origin (I didn't and still don't know where it came from or what type of wood it was), but that got lost when I moved. Yay for moving, huh?  |

| You forgot "If your post doesn't contribute, don't post." =/ Well, I like Rainbow Road, unless someone's using Bowser's Car... that thing throws me off track at the hairpins... every time.  Wario Coloseum was good. Nice and long is good. Too bad it's only 2 laps. And, it surprises me no one said this yet... Daisy Cruiser. If you beat me, I was probably hit by three blue shells and a pair of lightning bolts in the race. | Hm... I like CT's music (generally speaking) and battles more... and the story and characters of FF6 (Frog and Magus just aren't enough, no matter how good they are)... While I'm with Leno on this one, I'd probably play CT first if I got both at the same time. But, as it is I have FF6 (Playstation, it was given to me and my SNES is shot anyway) already, I guess it doesn't matter much to me. |

| Nope. We don't usually get our first snow until around December 15th or so. And our first snow that actually amounts to anything isn't until between Christmas Day and New Year's Day, usually. Until then, we just have the cold temperatures. |

| I'm going to my grandmother's for a week next month to help take care of things around the house after she goes in for knee surgery (my grandfather's handicapped and can't walk without help, so he can't do much either.) Since her sister-in-law sent them a laptop, I plan to bring a cd of roms over with me for something to do. And this is why I posted this thread. I need suggestions. Keep in mind that I'm limited to a laptop keyboard for the controller. And also keep in mind that any FF games you might mention I'm gonna have with me already (1-4 rom, 5 and 6 on Playstation, as well as 7-9 and Tactics). Also, does SNES9x require DirectX? (I'm posting this here because it's more about the games than the emulation. Also, I can find the roms, I just want suggestions for what to look for.) |

| When I need caffene (woke up five minutes before I have to go somewhere)... I have this 2-liter cup, see. It's one of those insulated ones. I fill it with coffee, and I'm on my way.  And even when I don't need the caffene, I drink tea a lot. It's what we have around the house, usually. |

| Ok, then... turns out the laptop has Win98, so I can just use the dos ZSNES (which is good, I don't think SMRPG worked well with SNES9x. )... I think this list is good enough. Thanks for the help, everyone. And Xeo: Yeah, I plan on bringing a couple utilities. Who knows, maybe this'll get me back into romhacking... especially if I somehow manage to keep the laptop.  |

| I've said my piece about illegal drugs elsewhere (for those who don't know, basically as long as it's privately used and has similar restrictions to alchohol I see no problems). But, for this subject, I'll have to say a bit more. I have asthma. And I have had it for all my life. Yet I don't care about other people (my mother and grandmother included) smoking. "Why?" you might be asking. "Why don't you care, when your own health is at risk, too?" Because no one is forcing me to stay around the smoke. If my mother's smoking starts to bother me I can go in my room, shut the door, and open the window. That option's not always available in a public building, and in most public places I agree with a ban on it - not a legal one, mind you, just a no-smoking sign on the door or in a restaurant having a seperate smoking section. But not in bars. If you're going to a bar, pub, or whatever the hell else you want to call it, chances are you're not that concerned about your health anyway. As for snuff... it's disgusting, yes. But other than that, it doesn't bother anyone but the one using it. |
