I don't mind getting sick, really. I almost always have a mild headache and an upset stomach, and usually when I get over any sort of illness, both are completely gone for a few days. That, and when I'm sick mom generally decides not to be such a bitch.

Doom can be played with long-ass passwords...

Gamestop usually has good quality used stuff when I go... maybe that's a regional thing. Sucks that it stopped working, though.

I've lived in a couple places that do that. A butt-ugly green house (thankfully, it wasn't that shade of green inside), an older house that's about half an hour from anything vaguely civilized, and a few newer places.

Don't really know what to tell you, except get used to it. After a while, you won't notice it anymore, it'll just be a normal part of life.

Leg, what you said about your Morrowind save is why I almost always have a backup or two of my "main" characters (I have a few others that I use for the other guilds, but I don't focus much on the main quest with them and so I don't worry about if they get messed up). It happened to me a few days after I got the game, but aside from that and an oddly timed freeze (I turned, and BAM! it froze. ), I've had no trouble. Although, it didn't freeze in the middle of saving that time. It just somehow messed up the save.

I remember back when systems lasted longer than a few years. My SNES, which I've had since 1997, finally stopped working this year. Somehow, late last year, a piece of the outer plastic on the corner, near the reset switch, broke off. It didn't get inside, but I think something did and messed it up. Now if you tap it while playing, the game instantly freezes. Still, it lasted seven years. I've heard of people having Xbox and PS2 problems after one or two years of owning them - a friend of mine, for example. His Xbox stopped working (I don't remember the details of it) about six months after he got it. Probably something his brother did, but...

My GC has had both the Reset and the Eject buttons stick.

I'm not sure, but (and I never thought I'd hear myself say this) I'm probably not getting Nintendo's system. The games have seemingly been going gradually downhill since the SNES. Meanwhile, the other systems have been getting better games over time... although, since I never get systems until 6-12 months after their release at least, I'll have plenty of time to look over the games on each.

Meh, you still haven't caught up with most of us. Before the server change, I had around 2700...

Now, 20,000... THAT would be impressive. Considering how long this board's been up (this time), it'd take insane sprees to reach that...

You know that you have a much greater chance of dying in a car than you do an airplane right?
I know. But my fear of flying comes from a fear of heights, not a fear of dying in a plane.

I... don't do bad on exams. My lowest score was 69, but that was a presentation in front of the class. I lost 20 for being nervous, I'd bet, throwing together all the things I screwed up on because of that, and we were even being graded on what we wore! I don't have nice clothes. Everything else, even a Spanish exam (which is a class I got kicked out of four times a week), I got at least 80 on, and I've gotten 4 perfect scores on exams - Algebra 1 pt 1, Biology 1, PE 9 (teacher gave us the answers while we took the test. ), and World HIstory 2.

So really, I just look at exams as "Hey, it's the end of the school year/semester!"

Movies can affect kids, but that's not the annoying part about being in a theater with a bunch of little kids.

If they aren't talking, they're complaining. If they aren't doing either it's because they're babies and can't talk yet. So what do they do?

I stopped going to the theater about five years ago, I think. Probably the best decision I've ever made.

EDIT after Cy's post: Yeah, and personally I don't think any kid under 3 should be allowed in a movie theater, period. Trust me, it's very annoying listening to a kid scream because they can't get more candy.

I like lightweights, though.

I go with Koopa and Baby Bowser in Toad's Kart. Even though it's identical to the other 2-4-2 karts (Koopa's, Baby Luigi's), I do better in Toad's than in any other.

Sometimes I switch one of my characters for Diddy, it depends on if I'm having trouble holding the lead (Go, Massive Banana Peel of Doom!), or taking it (Triple Red Shells in narrow tracks, Bowser Shell in wide)

As for frustrating games... Mario Bros. Lost Levels makes me go I made it to 7-4, then SMAS erased its memory (damn old SNES ) and now I can't get up there again; I die in world 4.

Killing? No.

Making them wish I only killed them? Hell yeah.

I figure that if I want to get revenge on someone, I'll put them in immense pain. But without killing them. That way, they live to learn from their mistake. And, they live through the pain.

Takes quite a bit for me to wish that on someone, though. I try to be a forgiving person, but some people...

Do I have to choose?

I think they did an extremely good job with all the tracks.

Rainbow Road, while absurdly easy against computers, was great to race a friend on if you were equally good.

Wario Stadium was extremely fun when you got a bunch of Triple Green Shells and Bunches of Banannas. I never was able to get that shortcut, though...

Sherbet Land... well, I don't know why I liked it. I just did.

I think you all see the point. My vote goes to Rainbow Road, though.

If I'm using a kart with 2 speed and 2 weight, I'm fine on those hairpins unless I'm in the crowd of opponents. That's when Bowser's kart rams me and sends me over the edge.

The wavy thing is where I fall. My kart's too lightweight - I actually bounce around a little. Still, it's nice to see a Rainbow Road revolving around skill instead of items (MKSC) or speed (MK64).

Now that I think of it, I should have voted Sherbet Land. Triple shells in caves are fun.

I've wanted to get a job for a while, but I've not been able to because of circumstances beyond my control.

You're busy with other things, so you're not "lazy" or anything like that. I'm almost done with school, so if I didn't get one soon or go to college, that'd be lazy. If you were easily flying through all your classes and never needed to bring work home to do, I'd say you should get a job. But if you have to work at your classes - I don't doubt that you get good grades - then you should focus on that. A job would only add stress.
