Well, I've never cried about someone dying, nor have I visibly shown any sort of emotion about it. I got a bit mad at myself when my grandfather (stepdad's side) died, since I wanted to try to be nicer to him, but beyond that... nothing. Oh, well, I was mad at the people who blamed my mother for his death, since she did everything she could to save him. Aside from that death, all I did was try to console mom when her ex-boyfriend was killed, and defend myself from accusations of things I never said when my great-great-aunt died. |
But who knows. Maybe it affects me more than I relaize, and I simply subconsciously hide that in my concern for others that are upset by the death. I prefer not to think about it; I confuse myself when I think... (edited by Tamarin Calanis on 09-11-05 12:07 AM)

I won't deny that it was a major event, but no event is important enough to dwell on year after year after year. I mean no disrespect to those who died or lost loved ones, and their grief is understandable (if still a little prolonged), but life goes on and on until we die and if we keep our heads up our pasts it'll leave us behind.
