Read the stickies. There's a poll there that's identical to this one.

Game over. *punts into the trash*

ah, shit. I actually beat 4 of them.

FFIV, FFV, FFT, FFTA.

... but I voted 2-3, since I forgot about FFIV.

FFIV: Nearly complete; hadn't gotten all of Rydia's summons - a few item summons eluded me.
FFV: Completed, didn't kill Shinryuu or Omega
FFT: Completed, no Ultima or Zodiac (did beat Deep Dungeon, though)
FFTA: Completed, 283/300 missions; I tossed an essential mission item, though.
That is to say, I beat the sidequests except for those specific things. Did not level to L99 at all.

I got $20. But I don't care, because I bought a computer today!

I thought you really liked FFVI?

I did. I just didn't get far because I got lost in caves and shit. That's my typical problem in games; getting lost.

I stopped enjoying the games as much when Ruby/Sapphire came out. The new pokemon seemed to be nothing special (Lairon looks like Rhyhorn. No, seriously), and until Emerald came out there was no challenge. Wasn't much of one in Emerald, either.

The games stopped being fun, the pokemon stopped seeming different from each other...

Maybe I'll pick up a new copy of Gold or Crystal when I get my next paycheck, and think about the days of 251.

I believe he's referring to how they look like they were drawn pretty quickly. And the text is a bit hard to read sometimes.

Clean it up a bit (clarity improvments needed), and it'll be better. Just the cosmetic things that have to be improved, far as I can tell.

The difference is that Levels are determined by EXP, which is determined variously by your posts and your time registered. Ranks are determined solely by postcount.

The purpose is nonexistent. They are another useless statistic.

Watch it, Kyouji. That sounds a bit too much like telling him to shut up because he disagrees with you. I think you've both made your share of asinine comments in this thread, but I haven't said "why do you comment?" yet.

What I'd like to see is one game - probably Gamecube or Revolution - that included the entire Pokemon world, with every single one of the creatures available. Thanks to the magic of memory cards, trading (which would still be needed for certain event-related pokemon like the starters) and battling with others would still be quite possible, and having the entire land to explore could potentially be great for single-player people (or those whose friends simply haven't gotten the game yet).

But they'd make more money going with what they do now, so that'll probably never happen. Especially with kids that want to not only collect every Pokemon, but every Pokemon game as well.

Plenty of intent to change. I'll probably be Silver Dragon (again?) this winter.

The asinine part being that you said the single player mode didn't count. Then again, there's a high likelyhood that I used the wrong word. I tend not to put much thought into things pokemon-related. =/

Perhaps the one with the most fun battle system is better to you. I don't have the advantage of frequent access to other people that have ANY of the games. Single-player has to hold me over usually for that very reason.

It's a very simple concept.

Earlier in your gaming life, you have less experience. You don't have as many other games to go by past experiences with.

Later on, you learn more about video games, and you play more of them, and you can use experience in one game for a completely unrelated game without even realizing it. In such a way, it's possible to get batter at a game without even playing it.

But the original Legend of Zelda is still hard, as is Zelda 2...

Stop acting like you're being oppressed, Geeo. Seriously, I'm fucking sick of seeing it from Christians.

You want to see religious groups that actually might have a good reason to complain? How about pagans, who are still misunderstood now and still labelled by many as 'evil'? Or muslims, who have to deal with the news emphasizing "Islamic extremists"? Or maybe atheists (who aren't religious at all, but it fits with the subject), who have to deal every single fucking day with Christians trying to convert them?

Oh, the list goes on, but I'm gonna stop before I get pissed.

Obviously, we have to spell it out for him, Leno. Otherwise, he wouldn't ask.

To beat him, you must not fight him. Do not cast spells. Do not swing weapons. Do not do a fucking thing. Sit there until the battle ends automatically.

Actually, Clock, that looks like a suggestion for improvement. He pointed out a somewhat specific problem - though what he refers to is beyond me, as I don't feel like looking at it to find it. So maybe he doesn't know exactly how to fix it.

But by your logic, one cannot criticize the President of the United States unless they can do the job. By your logic, one cannot point out the flaws in a videogame unless they can make one better.
