SSBM! SSBM! SSBM!

Sorry, but I had to state the obvious. SSBM!

If you have multiple GBAs, you might wanna try Final Fantasy: Crystal Chronicles. It's probably a hell of a lot better with four people than with one.

You claim to have provided facts, yet all you've said is that 500 people from different walks of life saw him. There is no proof of this. You do not have any sources that you have referenced, and therefore all you have given us is hearsay.

Try again.

Sorry for lack of comments. I've been reading them, I just don't like to comment with random stupid unrelated shit like this.

Well, I may as well.

Name: Jake P. (Tamarin Calanis, Cheveyo Chowilawu, Shadowflare, etc.)
Age: 16
Gender: Male
Skills: Well, I'm an RPer and Simbattler elsewhere, I play videogames a lot, and I have plenty of experience moderating things...
Forums to mod: Debate, General Gaming. I feel that I can close threads for flames without misinterpreting somethign that's really just a disagreement (Debate), and I visit General Gaming daily.
Highest powerlevel: None here, admin at Antireality and Xeogaming, Local Mod at TEK Hacks, in addition to running a Simbattle/RPing board.
Recommendations: I got nine votes in the New Staffer thread, but all I know is Randy and Windwaker. And Elric. And Googie/Myster Mask
Paragraphs: I can't make guarantees on length, but here goes.

I am Cheveyo, Tamarin, Jake, whatever you want to call me. I joined Acmlm's in February of 2003 (I think), and boy was I a newbie back then. I've learned from my mistakes, and know the boundaries of the rules now, having had to enforce them at numerous other boards. In my time running a board for two years and counting, I've learned tolerance for newbies as well as how to spot people that could be problematic. In my time as an admin at AR and XG, I learned how to cooperate with other staff. And also in my time at XG, I've learned that sometimes staff must be demoted for the good of the board - more on that in the next paragraph.

I was not the original person in charge of the Simbattle Board (could the name get more generic?). I worked my way up from normal user, and took over when the board owner left, and I've kept the place alive (if only on life support) for two years. Similarly, I started as a normal user at Xeogaming, but was promoted to Local Mod and later Admin. I did my job, but apparently someone didn't like me. The board got hacked, I got framed, I was eventually absolved of blame, but I was kept off staff so the hacker wouldn't return. Up to the point of the hacking, I did my job to the best of my ability, and I'm sure that Xeogred would agree. I was also an admin at AR, under different circumstances; Simbattle needed a new host, and Randy offered. Still, while I disagreed with almost all the staff there, I did what I could to help the entire board.

My activity at Acmlm's is not setting post records, but I do post daily, and I read more threads than I post in. I feel it's better to not post often and have every post be meaningful than to be a spam monster. I have had past problems with staff here, getting myself a three-day ban, but that was long ago. As far as I can tell, I haven't pissed anyone off yet this time around, and I aim to keep it that way. I have finished school, and I have no job (a problem I aim to fix soon), so nothing would interfere with my moderation duties if you chose me.

I know these paragraphs don't meet the requested 10 sentences per paragraph, but this was the best I could do without resorting to unnecessary filler.

Edits: Added Elric and Googie to Recommendations.

Mario Party 3 was my favorite one, and I've played the first four. Made the mistake of buying MP4.

Rogue Leader has a co-op mode, but that's only two players. It also has a competitive mode, again though, I think that's only two players.

English, a little bit of Spanish, and some scattered remnants of BASIC from my days with that Commodore 64 that I used to have, back when I was 8.

I can't even say a full sentence in Spanish. I hated my Spanish teacher, and to make it worse, she mixed up French and Spanish during class because she taught both. So who knows, maybe I know some French and don't realize it.

As for the controller, from what I've heard, it doesn't sound all that great. Supposedly, the controller will be fully "customizable" according to the companies and their wishes. How? It will have a touch screen, more than likely.

Now, I don't know if anyone else said this, but I had seen in a magazine a controller that let you move the two control sticks, the dpad, and the buttons to different spots. The face buttons buttons were on one circular piece, and the two sticks and d-pad were on their own. That's all the info I have, unfortunately.

Maybe that's what they have in mind?

Alright, then, I guess I'll have to not cheat. Considering Mario universe physics, I'd have to call a Mushroom stronger than a White Block overall, though it makes you a bigger target...

Well. I'm gonna go with the kinetic uses. A strong-willed individual could resist the mind trick, but who can resist being picked up and carried (or thrown) out of the building?

And Legion, you could probably use Force Lightning without getting in trouble very easily. Why? Because people would be too damn scared to do anything about it.

It's in the General forum, so obviously having some knowledge of programming is not a prerequisite for replying. Now, I wouldn't have posted it if this were in the PROGRAMMING forum, but guess what? IT ISN'T! Wow, I never would have guessed!

My best two are Marth and Dr. Mario. My main problem with Marth is that I neglect the Counter ability, so instead of being too Counter-happy I practically forget I have it. I also tend to overuse Dancing Blade. As for Dr. Mario, I don't have any specific problems overusing or underusing attacks, I just never use them at the right time. I can also use Roy reasonably well, as well as Mr. Game & Watch.

And I'd bet that if we did have that tournament, I'd be out in the first round.

Since my favorite idea for gun 'control' would never happen, ever, I'm not even gonna bother saying it. But tighter regulations should be in place, both for the obvious reason of trying to keep them away from criminals and to keep them out of the hands of idiots that don't know how to store them properly and away from kids. Unfortunately, I don't think any sort of intelligence test would screen out all the idiots, nor do I think any such test would ever become a requirement in this country anyway.

I am opposed to the very existence of guns. Their inception has hurt society as a whole. Not only are guns dangerous and, obviously, deadly, but I am opposed to them as the swordsman at heart that I am. I use "swordsman" as a gender-neutral term, if you must know. War, battle used to be about skill. The skill of an individual in their handling of a weapon. Axes, spears, swords. You had to train, often for your entire life, to become a great warrior. The advent of gun meant the dissolution of skill in war. Now it's all computer-aided, you need no talent to kill a man; simply aim a gun in his direction and begin firing until he stops moving.

Back before guns, if you wanted to kill a man, you had to be a more capable warrior, a better fighter than he. But now I'm reduced to mere romantic rambling. If no one had guns, no one would need them. If you want to hunt, get a bow and learn to do it with grace. Sport hunting is immoral in my eyes, anyway.

... well,l I figured if I didn't say what my favorite idea regarding gun ownership was, someone else would say it. And here he is! And he said it better than I could, too. Thanks.

Well, considering that (ideally speaking, for the scenario) weapons technology would have never proceeded past the Middle Ages or so, more effort would have been put into other things - like security systems.

I turn off the Star, Heart Container, and strangely, Food. It always gets in my way, but computer opponents (who are in even when I have a human opponent) always seem to pick up the right item, avoiding all the food. Hate it! I'll leave it on if someone asks me to, or I just forget, though.

Sometimes I'll turn off the Poke Ball, too. It can be a bit overpowered. But, even with what I turn off, I turn the appearance rate up to Very High, so... yeah.

As for throwing the screw ball, it prevents people from using their double jumps or their Up+B. It can be used to screw someone over when they're falling, as long as they're not close to the ledge. Erm, no pun intended there...
