I don't think this was intended as a game, more as a way for Legion to find out what the anime was he had found a screencap of.

While I'm sure someone is going to come in here and yell at you guys for calling this American cartoon an anime... I'm not gonna be the one to do it.

Sonic the Hedgehog (also known to fans as Sonic SatAM) is easily the best of the three old Sonic cartoon series (The Adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog, Sonic the Hedgehog (SatAM), and Sonic Underground).

But, at the same time, I'd say SatAM fails in comparison to the Sonic the Hedgehog comics produced by Archie Comics, which are in fact based off the show and not the other way around (production on the show began before production on the comics, even though the comics started hitting shelves before the show began to air). Archie Comics has a way of taking a pre-existing reality such as this and expanding it in awesome ways... They did the same thing with their comics based on the old TMNT cartoon.

Yeah, I see what you mean about the sword... But I didn't before you pointed out what exactly was off about it. It's still great art, man. *thumbs up*

Just change every instance of "dani3" to something else, like keiko1 or something. It's easy.

I at least partly stole the coding from Acmlm, like in 2003 Everybody rips off everyone!

Looking at your code, you have them set as orange.

You don't. It's a background image, yo.

The only character I can think of that even partly matches that description is Nack the Weasel (AKA Fang the Sniper), though being a weasel (or weasel/wolf in the games), he's certainly not related to Sonic.

Ah, do you smell that? It's the smell of JDavis unveiling a new post layout! This time, one based on the computer systems of one Washu Hakubi from the anime Tenchi Muyo!

Now, I'll be the first to point out that this one does not appear as it is intended to in Internet Explorer. But, too bad. If it comes down to it looking perfect in IE or looking perfect in Firefox... Well, I use Firefox, so guess which one I'm going to go with?

Anyway, now let's try a blockquote...

Listen, through his experiments, Heisenberg concluded that the accurate measurements of one of two related observable quantities, such as position and momentum, produces uncertainties in the measurements of the other. He figured that the product of the uncertainties of position and the uncertainties of momentum are equal to or greater than h over 2 pi, where h equals Plank's constant. It means that observations in quantum mechanics always lead to uncertainty. You understand this, don't you?

And... how 'bout a link?

Well, I think that about covers everything.... Oh, wait! No it doesn't! I almost forgot the most gimmicky part! The look of the layout, like the lighting inside Washu's lab, changes depending on the time of day. Specifically, there are four styles: One for the morning, one for mid-day, one for the evening, and one for night.

Enjoy. Or don't, if you're using IE. Sorry.

It's the 'keyboard' part. You see, Washu's computer interface is made up of two black semi-transparent rectangles angled like an open laptop which float in the air. You can't actually see where the keys/buttons/sensors/whatever on the 'keyboard' part are except when they're being pressed, as they light up.

Well, if you were using Firefox, you'd see that "blackish transparent" is also what the text box is supposed to look like.

And I assume spoilers look as they normally do.

Spoiler:
Testing.

Yep, sure enough.

Edit: And testing an edit.... I'm thinking about resizing all the images down so the whole thing won't have to take up so much room should have though of it ahead of time, admitedly...

Shrunked. Now I've got to clean up some of the images

Edit: Oh, and I almost forgot, a big thanks goes out to Kasumi-Astra for letting me see her time-sensitive coding stuff, so I wouldn't have to figure out how to do it myself

I had to insert a few line breaks before the quote myself so it wouldn't screw up Otherwise the blockquote box goes behind the bars image and it just looks all sorts of odd. But, yeah, text wraps around the bars just fine. I'm trying to keep this all together so you can see. *previews* Yeah, as you can see, it wraps around it. It is odd, though... I'm considering making the text start below where the bars are.

Well, as you might could tell reading the thread, I had to resize everything down. The slight gray matting was a lot less noticable on the larger versions. Either way, it's about the best I can do without pixel-tracing the things, and I don't have time for that. The shapes aren't really meant to have any particular meaning as far as my layout goes, they're just a few of the designs that have appeared on Washu's screen from time to time. While the bars and the circular bars are probably meant as measurements of some kind, I don't honestly claim to understand the triangle-circle combo at all.

And it should now be in evening mode. Orangey.

Lies! Well... I can see the arguement for the first TV series (Universe) being better than the OVA (Muyo) since it had a fully expressed plot... But the characters are much much deeper in the OVA, and the universe much more expansive and well planned out.

Shin Tenchi Muyo (Tenchi in Tokyo), while not a bad series at all, simply doesn't compare to the OVA or the first TV series at all.

Nothing beats the original.

Plus, you're porbably working only with a (possibly faded) knowledge of what Cartoon Network aired. Cartoon Network butchered the series for sake of censoring and making it fit in the availible time-slot with room for commercials. Plus, there's been seven more OVA episodes produced since when CN aired the series, as well as a whole 26-episode side-story-series (Tenchi Muyo GXP) set in the OVA's reality, which further expands upon it.
